Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

Our specialty is our rehearsal/ wedding ceremony value package. Stay in the 5 bedroom farmhouse cottage on the property and have the rehearsal and dinner on the property or in the workshop party room and then have the ceremony the next day. Brides love staying at the farmhouse with their bridesmaids to prepare together for the wedding day. We are located on 10.5 acres with woods, barns, a pond, and rustic accents so there are many great photo opportunities!

The original stone structure was built by the Catwaba Island Wine Company in 1872, as a wine cooperative for local vineyard owners. Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Since then, many hours and much effort have gone into creating the perfect space for weddings. As one of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues, this venue is a great choice!

The Circ Bar and Root is a gorgeous dual venue that offers an experience unlike anything else. It has rich history dating back to the 1850's where it was most likely the first brewery in Ann Arbor. This historic building combines the original wood, brick, and stone with modern elements to create a stunning industrial bar setting. Guests often begin their day enjoying the open air with a ceremony on our Roof Deck. Our Lounge, with its large windows overlooking the Roof Deck, sets the perfect scene for cocktail hour. From there, guests move into the main bar, Circ, to enjoy dinner. This space has a 30ft wrap-around bar, built-in stage, and plenty of exposed wood and brick.
