“I would recommend Sound Event DJs to anyone looking for a good DJ. We hired them for our recent wedding. Monica took the time to answer all our questions prior to our booking Sound Event DJs. My husband and I were provided with a link where we were able to select songs that "must be played", "play if possible", and "do not play", as well as specific songs to be played at certain points (our entrance, first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, etc.) The DJ, Jorge, not only followed our requests, but also added the perfect mix of other songs, that had the whole room dancing the entire evening. I don't think there was ever a moment that the dance floor was empty other than when everyone was eating dinner. Sound Event DJs also provided uplighting that helped tie together the room. Last but definitely not least, DJ DEVINE. OUTSTANDING. PHENOMENAL. I am a type A person, an audiophile, and big music fan. When I tell you I provided DJ Devine a playlist for the different sections of the wedding and was nervous to see how he would execute because I thought that only I could do it to my liking. DJ Devine surpassed even how I would have done things. He made sure that I felt comfortable with him a week before the wedding and on the day of our wedding he approached me with a calm and cool demeanor and made me feel that I was in great hands. Not only did DJ Devine play music, he led our party, he led some dances, and HE SANG “Thinking out loud” by Ed Sheeran! When we first heard the song play we said, “this is an interesting version of the song to play,” only to see DJ Devine killing it with his vocals! He played songs that I didn’t have on my playlists that were amazing and had me thinking why didn’t I think of those lol. He made sure our wedding was nonstop fun and that everyone left it all out on the dance floor. “We just had our wedding this past Saturday at The Palms Hotel & Spa and it was a roaring success! A huge part of that was due to Pheniks Sound & Lights Plus. They made selecting our music for the evening a breeze, through their App you can clearly label what songs to play and when. What I loved about their services is that you can choose how much you want to stick to your playlist or let the professionals add songs of their own. You can also mix and match what you need—For a wedding of 120, we selected their 1st package option and then added extra lights and a photo booth. The lights were used to light up our first dance in front of the gazebo outside, I was worried that even with the lights it would be too dark but it was everything I had dreamed of. The photo booth added that extra element of flair toward the end of the night when you needed a break from the dance floor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the flow of the evening, thanks to our MC Henry who ushered folks from space to space with his silky voice. Every step along the way they were communicative, easy to work with, professional and fun! We are so grateful we chose them for our special day”
