Hey y’all! My name's Gabriella, I love sunshine and I'm a documentary-style wedding & engagement photographer based in Philadelphia. I'm a hopeless romantic and I adore documenting love stories with my camera in a beautiful & compelling way. Basically, I’m a down-to-earth gal from Pennsylvania who got hooked on the travel bug at college in Georgia (go dawgs!!), has a passion for storytelling and absolutely loves love. Running, biking and chasing sunsets are my favorite pastimes. I’m team coffee AND team tea. I dream real big and I’m full of ambition. Oh, and I'm not just you wedding photographer ... I'm your new friend :)

Awarded Best of Zola
Gabriella was the best photographer I worked with! She is so bright and sunshiny she just makes you want to smile in every photo and she will capture so many pure emotions. I hired her for my wedding photos and I am beyond thrilled with the experience and the results. She has vision and creates beautiful photos! My husband is shy and said that at times he forgot he was taking photos, Gabriella made us feel so comfortable and confident and helped us pose when we needed more instruction. Gabriella is also a wonderful communicator, I am from out of town and Gabriella made communication clear and effective. She also goes above and beyond when sending recommendations for vendors and checking in as frequently as a couple needs. 11/10 highly recommend!

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

My partner and I hired Sean for our engagement photos and we were extremely impressed! He was super helpful in helping us pose and very skilled in the ways he used lighting to capture our best features. He captured really genuine moments with such skill. He also made sure the job was well done and he got all the photos that we could have wanted. We had a blast working with him! The photos are stunning and I genuinely can’t stop looking at them! My partner and I tend to feel awkward getting our picture taken but Sean created such a comfortable space for us. We would highly recommend booking Sean.

You are adventurous, unique, & real in every way Your wedding photos should be too. I work with fun couples who are madly in love, each unique in their own way. I don't work with models... Which means, almost every couple I photograph is not experienced in front of the camera! I understand that "posing" doesn't feel natural for a majority of people, which is why I create an environment that prompts fun movements, natural laughter, and draws out your vulnerable emotions.

Awarded Best of Zola
Lexi exceeding our expectations when it came to photography! She shot our engagement and wedding photos and both so far have been beautiful! She was very friendly, kind, and so so easy to work with. She really took the time to get to know me and my husband during our sessions. Also, Lexi will send sneak peaks of your shoot, that just keeps you on the edge of your seat for the rest of the photos!! Would highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer that will work with you, treat you like a friend, and cares about getting the important shots!

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
Justin is AMAZING! Definitely the best vendor we chose for our wedding. Our pictures came out amazing and he really helped us feel comfortable despite our nerves about being in front of the camera. 100% believe he is a star in the wedding photography community and we are so lucky we were able to nab him. If you want great pictures and a great experience, book Justin always.

We had Arie our our engagement shoot photography and will be using her again for our wedding in June 2024! She was amazing and helped us both feel so comfortable during our shoot. Despite rain in the second half of our session she was still able to capture magic! We are looking forward to having her capture all the special moments at our wedding. You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

Awarded Best of Zola
Abby wasn’t able to travel to my wedding but she sent her assistants and she edited the photos. It went absolutely perfect. The photos were beautiful and I got so many meaningful photos with my family and his family that I wouldn’t have thought to get. I sent her draft of a timeline and the photographers printed it out and had it to make sure the photos I wanted got done. They were absolutely amazing. Thank you so much to Abby and her team.

Hi! I'm Sarah. Congratulations on taking the next step in your wedding planning! Choosing to work with me earns you more than just a photographer; you get a hype-girl, a dress fluffer, a confidant and a new best friend. Since we are now future besties, here's what you should know about me: My love for portraiture stems from the joy it brings me to make others feel beautiful. Few things make me feel as giddy as photographing weddings, engagements & proposals, and I can't wait to capture the next stage of your love story. My strengths lie in natural lighting, illuminating colors, and catching the candid moments that make you, you.

Awarded Best of Zola
There is not enough good things we can say about Sarah! From day 1, she had great communication before the proposal while deciding the perfect location and how we would meet up with her. She executed flawlessly and I never saw her until the ring was on my finger even though she followed us for a bit before the big moment. She made us feel so comfortable for the photoshoot after and was willing to go to a few different spots with us all while carrying all of our stuff so it wouldn’t be in our pockets for the pictures. We received the sneak peeks the next day and were blown away with how well they turned out, she nailed it!! She got the big “I do” moment which was most important and then captured so many other sweet moments right before and after that I will forever be so grateful we can relive because of her photos. The best thing about her is that you can feel the joy coming out of the screen when you look through her galleries. So many people have raved over how well our engagement photos turned out. Everyone should book Sarah, she is so great at what she does!!

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
We discovered Leah on Zola, and right from our first conversation, we knew she was the one. Her experience and artistic eye were exactly what we wanted to capture our dream wedding. Leah made the whole process stress-free with her clear communication and warm personality. On the big day, Leah walked into a whirlwind of activity, but she calmly focused and started capturing the magic. She helped me stay relaxed and assured me everything would be perfect – I'll never forget that. Leah's photos are simply breathtaking. She's a true artist who captured every detail just as I imagined. She made sure we had time for portraits, but also caught those spontaneous, joyful moments that made our day so special. We are beyond thrilled with the photos Leah delivered. The cherry on top was seeing how excited Leah was at the wedding – she even quickly edited a photo on the spot! It showed she was genuinely invested in our happiness. Can't wait to work with Leah again for our future big life-moments!

We LOVED working with Salty Broad Studios and choosing Christine as our wedding photographer was definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made! She is so incredibly friendly and fun, yet still so organized and professional. She made it so easy to open up in front of the camera (I especially hate getting my photo taken, as a child I had to be bribed with candy, but she made it so easy and fun!). Christine handled everything so perfectly on the day and made it such an enjoyable experience. The photos are INCREDIBLE!! We are so so happy with how they turned out! Christine truly captured all the amazing moments of the day, all the great candid moments and emotions, gorgeous sunset and windy beach photos, and everything in between! Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Awarded Best of Zola
PLEASE READ - IT'S A LOT BUT YOU SHOULD REALLY KNOW: Diana is BEYOND incredible. When you book with her, you are booking so much more than just a photographer. Her soul is so unique and personable. I did not have a wedding planner as I am so picky and wanted to embrace it all on my own - and with Diana I was in fact NOT alone. Any minor or major inconvenience she was there to help me figure it out. I gained such a beautiful personal relationship with her, and I am so happy to say we are friends for life since we had our first phone call. I "spoke" with 3 different photographers, and Diana was the only one that provided information over a call - but also took time to for us to get to know each other and understand mine and my husband's vision. Her laugh is infectious, and her work is palpable. I could write for days about how awesome she is.

Wedding Photography is so Satisfying! I refer to my style of shooting as “the sniper”. People often tell me when they see a photo pop up on the screen right after I take it… “I never even saw you take that!” That’s the whole idea behind capturing truly genuine and candid moments that can’t be recreated… It’s about being sneaky, having experience and hustling your A$$ off to be in the right place at the right time… and I have so much fun doing it! I’m a proud father of 5 sons and a daughter (she’s the youngest)! I’ve shot over 550 weddings in 14+ years.

I loved working with Adam for my bridals and wedding. He captured both events so perfectly and brought my vision for both to life. I, as well as my wedding guests' loved the real time photos on the screen that he has for your reception. It was so fun to see all the pics he took from the ceremony and then as the reception was happening!

What if your photos actually looked and felt like you? Picture yourself 10 years from now on your wedding anniversary looking back at your wedding album with tears welling up in your eyes as you relive your day. Your wedding should not feel like a performance. Let go of boring wedding traditions, think outside of the box and create something unique that has never been done before. Whatever the perfect day looks like for you, why shouldn’t that be your wedding day? I am more than your wedding photographer, I am your guide, biggest fan, and the curator of your love story, I will also be the one tearing up from behind my lens.

My wife and I were so thankful that we chose Danielle as our wedding photographer. She is highly skilled, organized, and very easy to work with. She was an invaluable resource for us throughout the wedding process. In the months leading up to our wedding, she was like a wedding planner to us, guiding us through our itinerary, answering our questions, and asking important questions to help make our big day flow as smoothly as possible. On our wedding day itself, she put us both at ease and was very flexible when we decided to make a few last-minute switches. Most importantly, she helped capture so many amazing memories with her beautiful photos. We would highly recommend Danielle and Moon Rising Photography.

Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,000
  • Serves Manor, TX for additional fees

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
The professionalism, raw talent, and sweet demeanor are only a few of the exquisite gifts Gabbie offers. If you are looking for a photographer who is the complete package, look no further. When selecting wedding vendors, every blog post will tell you that choosing your photographer is one of the most important (if not the most important). However, little information is provided after that tidbit, which can be daunting for an excited (albeit overwhelmed) bride who wants every detail of their wedding to be perfect. Sean, my now husband, and I had selected our venue, The 1909 in Topanga Canyon, CA., and our coordinator, Allison, with West Events LA, provided us with a list of her preferred vendors -- insert us coming across Gabbie. I remember going to her website, scrolling through her work, and being enamored with how each photo captured a different emotion and feeling. We both immediately knew that from looking at her work alone, we wanted our photos to look and feel the same. After sending an inquiry and coordinating a call, Gabbie & I spoke on the phone for close to an hour about what we had in mind for our wedding, and I remember it all clicking when Gabbie described her work as "documentary" style. Sean and I knew we didn't want a videographer for our wedding, so Gabbie's techniques and overall vision aligned perfectly with what Sean and I wanted. We also opted to do a round of engagement photos with Gabbie 5 months before our wedding, where she came into our home to take photos of us in our most comfortable and natural state (chasing our dogs around the yard) and then for a shoot at a local winery that we love to go to. Not only did we have such a fun and great experience, but we also felt so comfortable and relaxed with Gabbie. We almost forgot we were there to have our photos taken! We received the gallery back shortly after and were so thrilled. Fast-forward to our wedding, we had hired Gabbie a second shooter for 8 hours. They met us at the venue for the final getting-ready details around 1 pm and stayed through to a good portion of the dance floor, around 9 pm. They arrived promptly and were even extra helpful with Sean when getting his suit on! While those details may seem minor to some, it was that unique care and attention from both Gabbie and her second shooter that made Sean & I, and all of our guests, feel so beautiful and confident to be themselves. When Sean and I got our gallery back, we spent a solid three hours scrolling through every captured moment, laughing, crying, and squealing with excitement. I am not exaggerating when I say that seeing the captured images and how Gabbie so beautifully arranged them in the album was purely magic. Any time we go through the album, we genuinely feel transported back to that day, and there is no doubt in my mind it is because of Gabbie's pure mastery of her craft. As part of her thorough questionnaire, one of the questions was what percentage of digital-to-film prints we would like, and for ours, we chose 50:50. I'm so glad we opted for film, and I almost wish we had had more because these photos are indeed what dreams are made of. The icing on the cake, Gabbie also wrote us an adorable card after the wedding, which included 3 of the film prints. Sean & I will forever be grateful to Gabbie for her work and friendship. We love you!!

"How long have you been doing photography" is a tricky question. I discovered a joy in photography during childhood. I built a foundation for photography in the darkroom during high school. I found a passion for photography when I began photographing music in 2009. Concert photos have a way of capturing energy and motion that just grabs you. Between the stage lights and the musicians it taught me how to capture passionate, uncontrollable situations. So I naturally progressed into weddings, where candid opportunities are endless. Where moments are organic, crazy, and last but a split second.

I’m Artur full-time wedding photographer behind the Kandid Arts. As a wedding photographer with roots in Europe and a heart in the United States, I bring a unique blend of cultural influences and experiences to my craft. Born and raised in Eastern Europe, I developed a passion for photography that has only grown stronger during my last few years in the United States. For the past 6 years, I have dedicated myself to the art of wedding photography, capturing the love and joy of couples on their special day.

Could not say better things about Kandid Art Photography! The process with Artur from start to finish was so easy and he captured my wedding perfectly. My husband and I now have so many beautiful and memorable photos that we can look back on and remember our special day. I would highly recommend Artur and his team a million times. Thank you so so much Artur!
