Since a young age, Ben remembers photography being a big part of his life. His dad loved photography as a hobby. Growing up, Ben and his sister picked up their love for the craft through learning from their dad. Ben started out making videos of local bands for fun. Eventually he decided to venture into other types of film. In 2017, Ben asked to film one of his close friend's wedding. The rest is history! After other friends saw the film, they asked Ben to film their weddings. In the first year, Bodnar Film Co (originally Ben Bodnar Films) shot 20+ weddings. Ben couldn't do it all alone. He taught Jenn how to shoot and she joined the venture!

It all started when of my cousins asked if I would film their wedding. Although it was not easy and I definitely had a lot to learn, I accepted. Years and thousands of hours of video later I am pursuing my dream. Hello, my name is Zachary Sowers and I would love the opportunity to work with you on capturing your project. We met in elementary school, Derek was 2 years ahead of me at a small private school where everybody knew everybody. We knew of each other for 11 years before we finally became friends 2 years after he graduated. At the time, I was in the beginning stages of my photography career and he had just filmed his first wedding. He worked up the courage to ask me out, and from that day on we were inseparable, many of our first “dates” were spent exploring new places and taking photos and videos.
