My approach to your wedding day coverage is more of a documentation of genuine moments between you, your partner, friends, and family. Specializing in a photojournalistic style, I'm on the hunt for those natural smiles, tears of joy, and most importantly, finding you and your partner lost in the moment. I also strive for a clean and timeless look, focusing on composition, and I'm not afraid to give direction when needed.

Like with anything I do, I’ve put much heart, work and energy into photography. Yet, the most rewarding part are still the emotions, and happy messages I get from my clients. Nothing charges and empowers me more. On your wedding day, you shouldn't have to worry, cause I am there to help you in every way possible. I make sure your dress is all nice and fluffed in every picture, that there is nothing in your teeth, I catch every fly away and I am there to be your hype girl.

I started photography as a second shooter with another local photographer and I fell in love with it. I love every aspect of my job, from meeting new people to editing photos. There truly is nothing better than getting a message from my clients about how happy they are with their images and how much it means to them. I have traveled to Colorado, California, New York, Florida, Alabama-- All over for weddings! I LOVE to travel for my work. I'm Meghan Ann Imagery! I'm an artist, storyteller, and lover of love. It's fitting I ended up as a wedding photographer, right? I'm based in Connecticut but wishing for the dream inquiries that will send me to Alaska, Colorado, or some place new.

I love mexican food, cats (and dogs!), and iced coffee. Books are my best friends, and I also double as a yoga teacher when I'm not doing photography related things. I have a weird obsession with fuzzy socks and I prefer movies over TV shows. Now on to the typical things you want to know about my journey in photography...I got my first camera in 2009 and basically haven't put it down since! I studied photography at Savannah College of Art and Design and started my freelance photography career when I graduated in 2016!

I started photographing weddings in 2017. I originally got my first camera to photograph landscapes- National Parks specifically. But the second the camera was in my hands, I was immediately drawn to photographing connections between people. Since that moment I haven't hesitated while my heart led me in the direction of wedding and elopement photography! I love documenting the in-between, unprompted moments; the subtle way your partner glances over at you with a side smile when you're not paying attention, the groom fiddling with his new ring, and the uncontrollable laughter when you're melting into each other during your couple's photos.

My passion for photography stems from a deeply personal experience. What began as a senior thesis project alongside my beloved Grandmother quickly evolved into a profound journey of documenting precious moments. Today, I cherish those photographs as windows to the past, allowing me to relive poignant memories. I hope my clients can also find solace and joy in their own photographs, whether in times of loss, reminiscing about loved ones, or celebrating life's special events.

When I went to college I knew I wanted to have a career that allowed me to work with people and so I studied Social Work and Psychology! Photography was a hobby but when my friend found her self with no photographer days before her wedding, she asked if I could shoot her day and from the first wedding I was hooked! 11 years later and I think I have the best job on the planet. I have been married to the love of my life Jordan for 6 years now and she is the extra magic in Swiger Photography. We have a lil rescue pup named Furgie and spend our free time trying new bourbons and exploring Philadelphia!

I love everything about photography - meeting new people, capturing raw emotions, being a part of special moments, giving images a crisp, timeless feel, and delivering memories that will be treasured forever. Each part is so, so special to me! Outside of photography, I love cheering on Husker football, traveling to new places, cuddling my cats, baking cookies, & decorating for holidays!

I’m a Sunshine State native, a Pisces, and a lover of the outdoors. Photography is my favorite way to connect with people. The ability to freeze a memory to look back on for years at a time is what kept me wanting more. I am forever in awe that taking photos allows me to create art, while also giving people stories to reflect on down the line.
