Getting married at Red Ridge was the easiest and best decision I made for our wedding! I was sold as soon as I had a tour and reviewed the multiple package options. The whole staff is so accommodating and pays close attention to detail. I was able to structure out the entire wedding ceremony and reception months before the Big Day. I found The Heights Villa through a friend who was looking for a quince venue. I had no idea they had taken the old neighborhood church and turned into something spectacular. When I visited the venue I fell in love, then I met the owners. Brendan and Cathy are nothing short of LITERAL angels on earth. They make you feel like you’re home, like you’re exactly where you should be. I toured several other Houston venues, some that were even double the price of THV and something wasn’t right. Every tour at the other venues made me feel cold and foreign, it just wasn’t right. Then I toured THV with Cathy and Brendan and I KNEW this was where I was meant to solidify my union with my husband. They made sure every decision I made was well informed and in alignment with my vision of my perfect day. There was never any surprise fees, lack of communication or shortness of EXTRAVAGANT luxury options for me to choose from. If I could go back in time and tour venues again, I would skip every other option and not waste my time. THV was a win from the second I stepped inside that gate and met Brendan’s smiling face. If you’re struggling to find a venue that treats you like a human being, puts your vision into play correctly every time, and elevates your special day from good to ANGELIC then THV is your venue. Your Something Old & New! Olde Dobbin Station will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents. Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains' steam.

My husband and I had our wedding anniversary party at Olde Dobbin Station. You just can’t go wrong with this venue. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and dedicated. They are able to answer questions that will help you make the best decisions for your event. Everyone works well with the other vendors and that makes for a very smooth event experience. The venue itself is full of authentic history that you can actually see for yourself with the arches and the exposed steel beams. That type of aesthetic is not easy to replicate and gives ODS a distinct look and feel all of its own. The chapel is very versatile. There is not a right or wrong way to set up the space for a wedding ceremony. Added bonus: it also has a groom’s suite! Even the bridal suite is rich in history and as an original building, has been dedicated to brides and their wedding party as the ultimate place to get ready. The venue grounds are well kept and manicured. This leads to numerous outdoor locations for natural light photos. Not to mention, an outdoor ceremony location. This venue has it all! You will be very happy with your choice!
