Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. With a facility that also hosts a Farmer’s Market, a Flea Market, and an Antique and Collectable Market, this location is truly a community landmark. The Royal Oak Farmers Market is a purist Michigan market. We strive to offer the freshest local produce direct from the growers. We have both certified organic and sustainable farmers. We also offer free-range meats & eggs, plus a large amount of local specialty food items. The RO farmers market is open Saturdays selling local produce All Year Round!

Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those.
