The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.

Anthony Corradetti moved his thriving glassblowing business to Clipper Mill in 2005 after an already accomplished career spanning 30 years. His works are included in many private, corporate and museum collections. The space is an independent studio where glasswork is created everyday including large scale installations, lighting projects, and tabletop pieces for home or office. The showroom is open daily and features a variety of works for sale from one of a kind art to limited production pieces all made by Anthony Corradetti. Glassblowing classes & workshops are held regularly and the venue is available to rent for private events.
