“Dear Becky, Considering your abysmal treatment of me and my business partner, I am disappointed by all the false claims in your review. I was hoping some time and reflection on your part would improve your disposition but I see, sadly, it hasn't. As you have noted in your review, I do strive to put my clients at ease and provide support for them on their journey to their wedding day. This includes the tasting you mentioned, which I charge a very small fee to cover ingredients and travel. At the end of that two-hour tasting of over 10 different cocktails, not once did you express any dissatisfaction with any of the drinks, but instead raved about the drinks and asked for refills (specifically the espresso martini, which you chose as one of your specialty cocktails). Following this tasting, I continued to work with your additional demands of uncompensated site visits to a location over an hour outside my service area and an additional uncompensated tasting. This still was not enough to satisfy you. I was asked to attend a second site visit, which I politely declined. You then asked for another uncompensated tasting to "practice" making a Painkiller, a drink that I supplied you with during our initial tasting. Unable to accommodate your last minute request, I asked you to send me your version of the recipe, so I could be sure to make it to your standards on your wedding day and you proceeded to send me the exact same recipe I used to prepare this drink at your tasting. To clarify on which services were "out of scope," meaning, not that I cannot provide these services, but that these services do incur extra charges. These services include: • A third specialty cocktail (two are included with my package) • Pre-batching those 3 specialty cocktails, which I simply added on an hour of service time to be able to prepare this in time for service • The addition of 20 more guests, which changes the initial service quote • The addition of 2 mocktails, also pre-batched, which incurs an additional charge for additional ingredients and prep time necessary and is also considered a specialty cocktail. This, you added on a week before your event and insisted on making yourself, so as not to incur the extra charges. I never asked you to. • The addition of a second bartender, who you repeatedly refer to as "my wife". She is, in fact, my business partner and a certified bartender. All of the above services were added on after our initial consultation, within the weeks leading up to your wedding. And after I updated your invoice (in which I was already giving you a discounted rate) to include some of these changes, you proceeded to call me and scream at me over daring to charge you extra for things you asked for. I am very mindful of budgets and have worked with countless clients to find solutions and services that fit within their budgets. I, however, am a business and cannot work for free. Any stress added to your plate, was due to your unwillingness to properly compensate me for these additions as well as making constant changes leading up to the week of your wedding. In the 3 years I've been in business and over a hundred events my business partner and I have bartended, you are the only client I have had to part ways with. I am happy you found someone you trusted more than me to make your wedding a success and I wish you all the best on your new marriage.”

“To start, I first met Johnny when I was looking for a bartender for my birthday. It wasn’t an easy task. I am a harsh critic and I also don’t typically drink(by choice). I’m just not interested in the taste anymore. I wanted to find someone who could make a drink that I even I would want to drink. Because if you’re that good, then I know all of my friends would love you. Johnny was that and beyond. Let’s add to the birthday topic that it started raining in Setember in LA. When does that even happen? Never but it happened that one day on my birthday. I had an outdoor venue and we(at the last minute and on the day of) scrambled to get tents and a canopy for the bar (that I thought was useful but wasn’t). Johnny was a team player. He made it work through the rain and the sprinkles. By the end of the night, I want to say he was near soaked, but he was truly a highlight of the night. He didn’t complain or cancel. He not only has skill, but charisma. He makes homemade mixers too! What! He truly made the best of it and made sure that I had an absolutely fantastic birthday despite the random weather mishap. To this DAY, my friends ask about him! I always recommend him for any of my clients that are looking for a bartender. 100% I haven’t met better. Fast forward to me coordinating, and now he is one of my preferred vendors for weddings because I can trust that he will not only get the job done, but also be on top of things without me having to double check anything. That truly requires trust and I know that I can put my full faith in him. I don’t know if HE even knows how much that means to me. “I booked Bri for my backyard wedding and I have nothing but great things to say about her! She was amazing to work with start to finish. My wedding day had some surprise rain so her and our bartender, Nicole (who was also amazing) showed up extra early just to be prepared. My favorite things about the service were: 1. They handle everything (cups, ice, water, straws, mixers, etc.). All I had to do was buy the alcohol and Bri told me exactly what to get. 2. They made my favorite margarita recipe! Some bars have their standard drinks and mixes they serve, but Bri and her team followed my recipe exactly. 3. All communications with Bri are in a portal where you can easily access and reference everything. 4. They matched their decor to fit the style of my wedding. 5. “Omg this bar. They were SO perfect! My husband & I had to change our wedding date three times because of COVID. I was so worried about losing them each time but they were dedicated to being there with us & it worked! Not only is this bar aesthetically gorgeous, the owners are seriously the best. I recommend them to absolutely everyone. I went into this whole wedding planning not knowing anything about how much alcohol we would need or where to even start! They were always so responsive & helped us out with every single detail. They provided, cups, water, ice, napkins, storage for alcohol & kegs + more! The owners also offered to take my extra florals to a local retirement facility which I LOVED that idea. Our florals unfortunately didn’t work but the fact that they were willing to go the extra route & donate them, was so special. They always treated us like a priority & made sure we were happy with everything which made it that much easier as a bride. “Setting up and planning everything with the person online was wondering and really gave me high hopes! Everything went super smoothly. They gave me a comprehensive shopping list and helped finesse all the recipes for our mocktail bar. Also checked in a few times prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. Now the bartender who came was a different story. She forget several of her tools needed including knives for all the garnishes. I had bought quite a bit of oranges, lemons, limes etc. She was also incredibly rude and several people remarked to me about that during the wedding day and after the wedding. She looked miserable and angry the whole time at the wedding. The only time I went to the bar, she wasn’t there and after about 10 minutes of waiting around, she came back and I asked to try all my mocktails and she gave me a judgy look and said that she was already made a drink for the bride earlier. I asked again and finally after my husband asked with me she made them but reluctantly. Mind you, this was a nonalcoholic bar. Overall liked Bucky’s, but the bartender was who worked with them was having an off day.”

“We hired Your Little Local for our 130 person wedding and cannot recommend them more. Colleen talked at length with us before the wedding to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and executed it perfectly. Colleen and her barback, Danny, made excellent drinks and kept the line quickly moving or made it nonexistent for the whole wedding. Many of our guests told us what a great job they did without us even asking or mentioning it. We and some guests loved the signature drinks Colleen created so much that we asked for the recipes. “Slate Mobile Bar did our wedding with 100 attendees. They were very responsive to our requests, and worked to make it a special night. Staff on day of was very professional and helpful.
