Give us a call or email us directly for more information!

We had a beautiful wedding at Hotel Covington and overall were elated with how it turned out. Riley was easy and professional to work with as our details specialist, but it felt like other staff members were never quite on the same page. There were miscommunications about so many things I can't even remember them all— no space for the groomsmen to get ready in although that was offered at the time we booked the venue, garage parking was not included although we were told it would be, when we showed up for the rehearsal the staff thought we were having a dinner not our rehearsal and was not prepared for us to be in the space as another wedding was going on on the patio, there was an "event hold" above the cost of the room placed on our credit card which would have been fine, but we were not told about it in advance. All in all, not being told what to expect was our biggest issue. Paying for garage parking, not having the space for the groom's party to get ready, the credit card hold all would have been totally fine and reasonable, but it felt like that information was intentionally omitted. (Again, there was more than that, but I waited a little too long to write this review and can't remember it all at this point.) On the flip side, the staff at Hotel Covington were extremely proactive and helpful with my dad, who has mobility issues. They provided a wheelchair for him to use on-site and staff members went above and beyond to help him when he really needed it. I am eternally grateful for the kindness they showed him and our family. We were very happy with the quality at Hotel Covington, but communication was lacking. Our day-of coordinator alluded to more issues, but she was able to handle them instead of bringing me into it. If you plan to have your wedding at Hotel Covington ask LOTS of very specific questions, have your details specialist write as much detail into your day-pf plan, and bring your own day-of coordinator to act on your behalf, and you will have a lovely day.

I was shocked the first time I visited and met with Angelique and Richard. We had a really great time with them, felt comfortable and well informed. They were very transparent and we didn’t feel like they were just trying to get the sale like every other place we toured. Not to mention the prices for what you get is worth every penny. The place is clean, well kept and everything we wanted . And being a photographer, this place has the perfect lighting. Excited to work with them for our event very soon!

Barrelhouse The Venue

5.0

Michigan City, IN
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,500

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Our wedding at Barrelhouse the Venue was perfect. Everything went exactly as we had hoped. It’s such an interesting historic building and Michigan City is a great place to visit.

19 North by Froehlich's

5.0

Three Oaks, MI
  • Up to 350 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $35,000

Breathtaking floor to ceiling windows, refinished hardwood floors, handmade farm tables, gold charivari chairs, 8' tall chandelier, built-in custom bar, exposed brick and wood beams & private rooms for your bridal party. 19 North is a gorgeous 11,000 sqft venue located above Froehlich's charming Kitchen & Pantry restaurant. With the original wood floors and over 800 tin ceiling tiles still intact and beautifully restored, this space embodies a rustic opulence that offers couples the feel of a big city event in a quaint village. At the top of the grand staircase in the all-glass foyer, guests will find a tall corridor, flanked by two sets of massive, 12 foot turn-of-the-century doors, leading to a grand ballroom, complete with a show-stopping chandelier.

My fiancé and I discovered the hidden gem of 19 North by Froehlich's while initially visiting for a delightful breakfast at Froehlich's restaurant. We were thrilled to learn it doubles as a stunning wedding venue! From the grandeur of the 8-foot chandelier and star-like pendant lights to the vintage charm of the ornate tin ceiling tiles, this venue marries historical preservation with modern elegance. The impressive wooden doors promise an unforgettable ceremony entrance, complemented by antique lounge sets and a private entrance through a picturesque glass atrium, perfect for a cocktail hour. The photos I'm including are frames from a video I took during the tour and they simply do not do this beautiful space justice! As a Chicago couple seeking a beautiful wedding without the metropolitan price tag, we were thrilled by 19 North's proximity to Chicago and charming towns like Three Oaks, New Buffalo, and Michigan City. The all-inclusive experience, from the beautiful furnishings to the option of building a custom menu, means fewer details to manage and more time to enjoy the journey to our special day. There are also tons of walkable Airbnbs which will be great for us and our out-of-town guests. The array of options and pricing transparency for catering and staffing have been impressive, reflecting the venue's commitment to ease and excellence. Drew, our point of contact, embodies professionalism and attentiveness, answering every query quickly with patience and insight. For those on the market for a wedding venue that promises a seamless blend of historical allure and contemporary services, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend scheduling a visit to 19 North by Froehlich's - a true embodiment of vintage elegance and an all-encompassing wedding experience. We eagerly await our wedding day at this enchanting venue and are confident it will create memories that we and our guests will cherish forever!

The Penthouse Hyde Park

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Up to 180 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $6,500

A rooftop ballroom and open-air terrace, The Penthouse Hyde Park offers Art Deco-inspired design with expansive views of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. Sleek, sophisticated, and simple, our venue acts as a blank slate to make your dream event come to life. Whether you’re planning a seated reception for 150 with dinner and dancing or a cocktail-style gala for 200, The Penthouse Hyde Park provides the perfect setting. A Century in the Making The Penthouse Hyde Park, located atop the former Piccadilly Hotel & Theater, offers an air of refined elegance that nods to its 1920’s roots. Our north and east walls feature 20’ arched windows that showcase skyline and lakefront views, unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Intricate crown molding has been restored to its original glory to provide just a touch of character. The space has been outfitted with modern lighting and a sound system to provide guests with a high-end experience they’ll remember for years to come.

The venue is truly amazing. The terrance for our ceremony looked over the Michigan Lake and the City of Chicago Skyline. The indoor area to eat and dance shows a great classy and modern decor. The venue definitely speaks for itself, and does not require much decorations to reflect a beautiful wedding. One downside we experienced was communication. My wife and I were shocked on some of the responses. This was our first time getting married, and some of the communications back to us made it seem like we should know everything about the wedding industry. We also had to repeat multiple emails and communications even though this information was given to another college at the venue.

The dedicated staff and comprehensive planning services ensure a seamless experience, from start to finish. With its prime location and flexible space, LM Studio Chicago is perfect for tech-savvy couples looking for a stylish and hassle-free celebration.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were picky and diligent while looking for a venue for our daughter’s wedding. We chose LM Studio over other places we looked at (Chicago has many wonderful venues to choose from!) for many reasons: -- excellent location downtown Chicago: on Michigan Avenue, yet off the busiest part of it with plenty of affordable parking nearby -- elegant décor with stunning views overlooking Lake Michigan and the parks -- full catering services with terrific selection of dishes for cocktail hour and Reception dinner Our expectations were high, yet LM Studio surpassed them! All the services they provided were impeccable. On top of this, we wanted to add a few cultural dishes to the wedding feast that meant a lot for our family. LM stuff was exceptionally accommodating and made it surprisingly easy - both, at the planning stage and during reception itself, even though that meant extra work for them. They really went above and beyond. Not only plenty of time was provided for setup and decoration on the day of the wedding, we also were allowed to drop off decorative cultural items and treats the night before and pick them up the day after (!) the wedding (and LM studio safely stored them for us). We are especially grateful to Paulette Eastman, the LM Studio Event coordinator for making all our communications so easy and efficient, and for being so responsive and supportive with all our requests and ideas. The Wedding turned out absolutely perfect according to our guests – THANK YOU, LM Studio!

My wedding experience at the Blackstone was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we stepped into the venue to the final farewell, every detail was flawlessly executed. We worked with Carly, the event coordinator throughout the months leading up to the wedding date. She was talented and unbelievably dedicated to making the wedding everything we imagined. From our initial meeting months before the big day to the final moments of the reception, Carly's attention to detail, creativity, and poise made the day truly stress-free. The venue itself was a picturesque backdrop, absolutely stunning. Guests jaws dropped the moment they stepped into the Crystal Ballroom. The hotel itself was elegant as well. The rooms were modern and beautiful. The guests were impressed! The service from the hotel staff was impeccable. Every member of the team demonstrated a genuine commitment to ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. From the courteous front desk staff to the chefs who crafted a wedding menu was absolutely delicious, the entire team contributed to the overall success of the event. Millennium Hall

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Up to 500 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,000

Millennium Hall is a multi-concept food destination that joins a roster of incredible restaurants from around the city of Chicago, while offering a backdrop of the sights and sounds of iconic Millennium Park.

The event staff are great to work with. Sabrina, Olivia, and Kate were all very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The food was delicious! We had 2 bartenders for our party of 100 people. No one ever had to wait for a drink. Security was made available to keep wedding crashers out. We had a cocktail style party for our reception under the white tent since we got married in June. Unfortunately it rained a little before the party but ended 30 min into it. The tent protected us pretty well, but the floor was wet near the edges of the tent the rest of the night. We did have the option until the morning of to switch our reception to inside of the Napolita restaurant. But, I spent a year planning this outdoor party and didn't want to change it, lol. It was nice to know that they were flexible and waiting to help out in any way they could. If you choose to have an outdoor wedding/reception under a tent and are worried about potential rain, ask for the tent side panels as a precaution. Those cannot be provided last minute, unfortunately. But, the tent space is amazing for a ceremony and/or reception! Millennium Park is a beautiful backdrop, so you can't go wrong with this venue.

Chicago Athletic Association

Chicago, IL
  • Up to 220 guests

Celebration is always in the air at our painstakingly-restored 1893 Venetian Gothic hotel with its postcard views and historic venues. There’s no better Chicago backdrop to launch your life story with the one you love most. Surround yourself in the splendor of smartly furnished spaces with intricate craftsmanship, monumental fireplaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Our famed design teams have taken extraordinary care to fuse contemporary sophistication with authentic 19th-century glamour across four wedding venues and 240 richly-layered guestrooms, including 23 storied hotel suites.

It is hard to put into words just how extraordinary my wedding was at the CAA. The catering team made the planning process such an enjoyable one and I had complete trust in each person involved. The ballrooms are unlike any in the city: elegant and historic with gorgeous views. We had our ceremony and reception in the White City Ballroom, overlooking Millennium Park and the lake. The Executive Chef and Pastry Chef are extremely inventive and I can assure you that this is not your typical hotel wedding plated dinner. The tasting was such a fun day and it became so clear that I had picked the right venue for my wedding. The team made us feel so special and personalized the whole experience for us. My wedding guests are still gushing over the dinner months later! They also offer table-side choice of entree and synchronized service, which was truly incredible to watch! The servers were so dedicated to proving the best service. The Director of Banquets and Banquet Manager went over the top to make sure this was a stress free day for me. I never had to worry about a thing! We had an after party in the Game Room. It was great to have such a fun spot to go after the wedding...in the same building. My guests loved it! I am so grateful for the whole team at the CAA for making my wedding a dream come true!

Pinstripes Chicago (River East)

5.0

Chicago, IL

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $500

Whether you are hosting a wedding reception, ceremony, bridal shower or bachelor(ette) party our dynamic ballrooms and private event spaces provide an upscale yet relaxed space for your special day. We host truly unique events and deliver sophisticated fun through combining our from-scratch Italian-America menu with the classic games of bowling and bocce ball. Let our talented event team work with you on a customized event to suit your personal style and help you bring your dream wedding to life to create a perfect day that you and all your guests will be sure to remember!

In the last few months, the Pinstripes team was wonderful to work with and helped accommodate our changes in plans with COVID. Their staff is fun, energetic, and experts in event planning. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes this year in the cocktail room down by the beautiful river and we cannot wait to host our larger reception next year in the ballroom. The location (right next to Navy Pier) is optimal and the outside/inside flexibility was greatly appreciated. During and after our rehearsal dinner, our guests thanked us several times for the delicious food at Pinstripes. The event planning team has been great to work with --through tastings, room setup, and again, re-planning our entire event with COVID. If you're looking for a great location, delicious food, a rustic setup on the river, and a great planning team, look no further! Wedding planning is already quite time consuming and a few Pinstripes below alleviated so many of our stresses throughout: Jessica Randel has been very responsive and proactive throughout her time with us--we had to make significant changes to our plans due to COVID and she helped bring our new vision (keeping everyone as safe as possible while maximizing our rehearsal dinner experience). She's helped us change our 150 person wedding to an intimate rehearsal dinner gathering outside, expertly advised us on various dinner services and setup, helped us safely manage new Chicago COVID rules (that changed week to week), and during the week of she kept us abreast of the weather and proactively guided us into a stress-free scenario. We cannot wait to work with her next year as we reschedule our big wedding reception in the downstairs ballroom. My husband and I also cannot thank Sherry Kenny, Diana Grodecki, and Jeremy Hopkins enough for the excellent expertise and service-driven customer experience. Sherry, at Oakbrook Pinstripes, provided us invaluable advice as we were navigating our COVID change in plans and managing through the changing circumstances in Chicago. Diana worked with us during the early phases, making our wedding tasting and early planning experience with my family a blast. At our rehearsal dinner, Jeremy ensured that every one of our guests received the top food and drink service, that his staff took precautionary measures, and that everyone had a phenomenal time. These efforts on your wedding weekend make a huge difference and we couldn’t have been more happy with our rehearsal dinner evening. We cant wait to finalize our big wedding reception plans with them in 2021 and return for another great experience.

JW Marriott Chicago

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Up to 400 guests
  • Select services
  • Starts at $25,000

Originally designed in 1914 by renowned architect Daniel Burnham, our luxurious Landmark hotel is a premier wedding venue. The JW Marriott Chicago offers classic elegance and modern style, surrounded by the Windy City's finest dining, entertainment and cultural experiences. JW Marriott Chicago features 44,000 square feet of flexible event venues, each elegantly designed to sweep you off your feet. Your wedding guests will be enchanted by the soaring ceilings, majestic chandeliers and exquisite architecture. Each of our hotel's venues is available to be included in your customized wedding package.

WOW! We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding in the Burnham Ballroom at the JW Marriott on west Adams, and it was a huge success on every level. There may be many hotels in the downtown/River North area that can accommodate 250 for a wedding, but none matched the combination of value, historic beauty, and a dedicated & coordinated team that is so client-focused as the JW Marriott downtown. From our first jaw-dropping peek at the remodeled exquisite Burnham Ballroom (after viewing over 20 other nearby venues), the JW instantly “vaulted” into first place. But first we had to get through the contract negotiating process, and Anita made that stress-free. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, candid and friendly, and is empowered to make most contract tweaks without constantly having to get approvals from others. The JW also offers a choice of various incentives to make the package even more attractive. And when you consider that nearly everything is included and onsite, the JW is a surprisingly good value over some of the trendy raw spaces. Once the contract was signed, Anita handed off the ongoing coordination to Bridget Kalsch and her team. Bridget is experienced, calming, patient and low-key, keeps track of every detail, has great and practical suggestions, and is uber-responsive to e-mail. Chef Lori was also incredibly amenable to tweaking recipes (in view of our restrictions). We were expecting “wedding food,” but we and our guests were all blown away by the presentation, preparation and portions. From appetizers through to the "Afterglow" of late-night snacks, everything was unique, plentiful, memorable and delicious. Jackie and her team made everything go smoothly on the day-of. We had thrown another wedding in the Loop just 11 months before and the JW team exceeded every expectation. Even our planner said he’d never seen a wedding for 250 people go so smoothly, with no hiccups. We are admittedly a high-maintenance client, and appreciated all of the following. • We had many dietary restrictions/preferences, and specialty elements we wanted included, and they made everything happen. • We needed to accommodate a large number of out-of-towners, and Patricia made the process painless and seamless. • The fourth floor setup, with its multiple breakout rooms and large hospitality suite adjacent to the Ballroom, is extremely convenient and flexible for before, during and after the wedding. • The bridal suite was spacious, gorgeous and flowed through to the adjoining guest room, so the large bridal party had plenty of space to relax and get ready (including hair and makeup) the morning-of; the hospitality suite was a perfect place for the groomsmen to get ready and for an afterparty for the bride & groom’s friends. • The historic lobby and second floor of the hotel provide an elegant backdrop for portraits/photos. • The Encore team, headed by Bob Heise, which handles the AV and the sophisticated lighting options for the Ballroom ceiling, was creative and helpful. • Unlike some high-profile ballrooms in the Chicago area, the Burnham Ballroom, with its arched ceiling, is acoustically perfect. We’re done planning weddings, but we’d strongly and enthusiastically recommend the JW! They went above & beyond in every way.

Warm and palatial, The Library offers an air of refined elegance that nods to another era. The two-story-high, book-lined walls — containing over 50,000 volumes of law books — are flanked by soaring Palladian windows that frame dramatic views of Lake Michigan and the majestic statue of Ceres.

The Library and The Stacks are two of the most stunning and unique places in Chicago for a wedding or special event. The Library is so classic Chicago with and The Stacks is such a cool, modern space...and they work together so well for events! I don't know where else you can have an event surrounded by thousands of historic law books and amazing architecture. Plus you get amazing views of the city out of every window! Aurieann and her team are so fun and easy to work with that I wish we did all of our events here! They are detailed, organized, and incredibly helpful with recommendations about how to best utilize the space for each event. They make the planning process fun for the clients and give the vendors the space and resources they need to do incredible work for the clients. They are truly event partners in every sense of the word and treat each and every event with the care and attention it deserves to make sure the clients have the best experience possible. If you can't tell from my review this venue comes with the highest recommendation I could give! If you are even considering this venue do yourself a favor and call Aurieann to setup a tour to see it in person!

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Bobby and all the staff there. It was a phenomenal night! The food and service was amazing, we had a cocktail area near the bar plus the private dining room, which was perfect. The guests were so engaged, and there were so many compliments about the food and the service. There were a few dietary restrictions and guests were able to be accommodated so easily! It was an incredible experience, and I cannot recommend them enough for food and for private events!!!
