“I had seen Jordan's photos on instagram and fallen in love with their aesthetic. I've been in traditional posed wedding photos as part of the wedding party and family in the past and I just never look like myself in them. I cannot pose and get very self-conscious if I know my picture is being taken. But having candid moments from the day really meant the world to me and that is what really resonated with me in Jordan's style; the documentary feel. Beyond this, there is this incredible eye for lighting and angle and capturing just the right moment that this duo (because it is Jordan and her husband, Trent) brings that I didn't find in any other portfolio I went through when looking for a photographer. She was super patient and understanding when walking me through the process on our introduction and every other subsequent call leading up to the day. We weren't going to be using engagement photos for the traditional announcements, but I had this idea of a wonderful series of photos at this location on the island where we were having the wedding that we could have as kind of our own celebration of our engagement and they were instantly on board and agreed to come out the day before to do those photos at that time. It ended up being a really lovely time for us 4 to bond and get used to each other so I highly recommend doing some kind of engagement photo session even if you're a photo-averse person like myself and the thought of doing more photos seems like the last thing you want to do. Jordan and Trent are so calm and relaxed that it made it really easy to be natural around them. And then on the day they were absolute rockstars. We were, as is surprising to maybe no one but us, running super late and they very gracefully helped manage our extended families and the venue to keep the pressure off us while still getting everything done they could. We showed up to the venue with 20 minutes to the ceremony and we somehow managed to get all our family photos (with toddlers and blended modern family combinations in the mix) and still be only 5 minutes late on the ceremony start. Then we snuck away for sunset photos and that ended up being this absolutely beautiful time we got to spend together during the reception, not awkward at all. And I truly think that's because of how natural and talented this duo are at their jobs. They were like the most lovely and helpful guests at the wedding, truly like having friends who are photographing the day for you. They made the day exactly what I hoped for, this beautiful, cherished time spent with family and friends in a magical place celebrating being all together and I cannot imagine my wedding without them there. I don't have the full album yet, but I do have the engagement photos and an absolutely breathtaking sneak peek of the day and they are so beautiful I almost don't believe it. Hopefully I won't need another wedding photographer (hahahaha) but if I do need family photos for the future they will be my first call.”

“Julie is great. I first met her when she did my high school senior pictures and was impressed by how they turned out. My then-fiance and I asked if she would come shoot our wedding near Cinci (quite a drive for her) and she happily agreed. She was super sweet throughout the entire process. She did a complementary engagement shoot a few months before the wedding and used the opportunity to get to know both of us. I've never known a photographer to put actual effort into knowing their clients, until I met her. She definitely makes her clients feel uniquely cared for. Our wedding pictures turned out wonderfully. They are very colorful and bright, but not in a way that feels heavily edited or artificial. The pictures feel true to how my wife and I remember that day. The prints and books we ordered through her also turned out great. Overall, we cannot recommend Julie enough. Would rate six stars if we could.”

“Caitlin did an amazing job. To begin with, she was very sweet, communicative, and helpful in the early part of the process. I do not wear a lot of makeup and don't know much about it, but she guided me through every step, even outlining the sorts of searches I could on Pinterest to find examples I liked. She made me feel confident that she understood what I was comfortable with even though we could not have a pre-bridal appointment due to distance. Then, on day of, Caitlin went above and beyond. She arrived ahead of schedule, brought everything she needed, provided lots of goodies, attention and skincare, and delivered a stellar makeup. To note, it was an insanely hot and humid summer day in New York (91 degrees and 85% humidity). I don't know what magic Caitlin worked on my face, but the makeup stayed on ALL DAY AND NIGHT. It was so astounding that almost every single guest commented on it (everyone else was sweating their faces off—sorry!). I looked like an elevated version of myself and was so so happy with it. “My husband and I got married in June of this year. One of the hardest vendors for us to choose from in the beginning was a photographer. Once we met with Cheyenne, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. She was so personable and kind from the first meeting with us. She did an amazing engagement photo shoot with us back in September of last year and gave us option to choose where ever we wanted for the location and also helped give suggestions to a location as there are so many to choose from! Cheyenne was also tremendous in figuring out our wedding day timeline. This was something my husband and I were both stressed about just making sure we had everything right, but she just asked us simple questions and did everything from there! This was so beyond helpful! She also shared it with all of vendors after she put the timeline together too. Fast forward to our wedding day - she was nothing short of amazing!! She got there early to check out the venue first and then was right on it with photos of the guys and then the girls! Cheyenne captured amazing photos from every single part of our day. I attached just a few that she captured. She was amazing getting all of our family pictures done after the ceremony too! Cheyenne also bustled my dress for me before the reception with ease and so quickly! This was beyond helpful and so kind of her as it wasn’t something she had to do, but she was so happy to do it! She was with us for almost 12 hours on our wedding day and had a smile on her face the entire time. She is so genuine and amazing at what she does. We are so thankful that we did because she’s the absolute best! One more thing that Cheyenne does that I didn’t see a lot of vendors do that was so helpful - you can do a payment plan with her and pay every few months before your wedding (depending when you book). This was really helpful as weddings are expensive of course so having this option really helped us plan and prepare better! Make sure you book Cheyenne! You will NOT regret it, I promise!”

She was so responsive during my initial inquiries, and also very flexible during the planning process - the 3 hour time difference between us was no biggie at all! When our wedding day arrived, Ashley was the boss and I SO appreciated it when everything else was chaos :) She kept us on schedule, let us know what she was thinking for fun shots, and made sure we were getting everything we wanted. My husband (who hates getting his picture taken) even said that the day started to be fun for him when we started pictures! Amazing.
