This magnificent Georgian-style home was built in 1914 for Cornelius Vanderbilt Truitt, a financier, and businessperson, by P. Thornton Marye, whose most famous project was the design of The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. In 1937, the house was purchased by Nasour and Mary Mansour, the first generation of dry goods merchants known regionally for their Mansour’s Department Stores, first in LaGrange and then in other major cities in the region. The Truitt Vanderbilt Club has an incredible array of unique and experiential rooms, nooks, porches, crannies, lawns, and one-of-kind spots to make your special event very special. One of the big advantages of hosting your event here is the opportunity to use a combination of the expansive grounds that surround the interior spaces within this beautiful structure.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1906 Greek Revival mansion was originally the Holberg Hotel. The 8,000 square foot Inn with nine guest bedrooms still has its original features: Georgia heart pine floors, ornate tin ceilings, elegant light fixtures and chandeliers, and eleven fireplaces. A beautiful garden, rocking chairs, and porch swings on the generous wrap-around veranda add to your journey back in time.

Based in Thomaston, Georgia, The Woodall House is a classic wedding venue. The owners, Brandon and Kari Creamer, are proud to re-introduce The Woodall House to locals and visitors alike. Staying true to the original build by Dr. McKenzie, the interiors of this house have been refreshed and updated. The Woodall House features multiple areas for hosting events. Couples can use the brand new covered event addition for their ceremony and reception as well as the covered front porch. Other events besides weddings are also welcome here. We offer a variety of spaces to host your next event. Our space can accommodate a variety of gatherings including, but not limited too, baby and bridal showers, graduation, birthday gatherings and much more.

Construction on Mistletoe Bough began in 1890 but wasn't completed until 1895. The town banker had the vision to build the grandest home in Alexander City. Raising four boys and one girl, Ruben Herzfeld and his wife Julia built Mistletoe Bough with the perfect combination of elegance and comfort.
