Choosing Stroudsmoor was the #1 best decision I could have made when it came to my wedding. It is the PERFECT place to get married. They have everything right there for you no matter which venue on their property you choose. We got married at The Pavillion because we wanted an outdoor ceremony with a “backyard/park” feel. From the moment I met my event planner, Danica, the planning went smoothly and every detail was covered. Grayson handled the flowers and decor beautifully. My bouquet came out better than I ever could have expected and the ceremony and reception decor was everything i was looking for. I came to them with a cake stand I had seen that I was going to rent myself but instead THEY HAD ONE MADE!! That’s just one example of many of how they go above and beyond to make your day a dream come true. From the ceremony to the reception things were seamless from a venue standpoint. Danica and Kailey planned my day with me and made sure my vision came to life. Checked in often and even made sure our fist look went smoothly while juggling another wedding. Maddy, Kim, Jenny, and Ally took it from immediately after the ceremony to the end of the night, never leaving me and my guests without whatever it was we needed. Jenny ensured I had a drink in my hand before I even thought to head to the bar for another starting with hitting the end of the aisle after the “I do”. My guests raved about she service and attentiveness of everyone and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my next chapter as wife! We had a Fall wedding at Seminary Hill and I couldn't recommend this venue more! The view is STUNNING. The house is perfect. The guest house is an absolute bonus (we invited close friends to stay next door). And the folks at Seminary Hill are a pleasure to work with, especially the property manager Bill. He was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. He helped us wrangle vendors before the wedding, he helped with setup and when any issues arose the day before, and he was just all-around a pleasure to work with. He made our experience so enjoyable and he was also instrumental to ensuring the weekend ran smoothly. We really couldn't recommend this venue more.

My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!

Their communication throughout the process was eloquent, clear, and incredibly helpful as they guided us through the history and details of their beautiful property, and connected us with all the right third party vendors. The quality and value for money this property offers is unparalleled - the grounds are truly magical, with a sense of privacy, luxury, and spiritual connection to the scenic waterfront and private lake. We felt an incredible sense of peace on their sprawling, private land — only 1.5-2 hours from NYC — making it the perfect venue to get married for us. I don’t know why things happen the way they do but I know for a fact that you were supposed to be apart of our big weekend. We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

If you’re reading this review just stop and book your stay already, actually book 2 extra nights. My husband and I had a wild idea to host our family and friends here AND our wedding ceremony. Gigi, Matty, Brian, Angel, and others, are absolute legends and went above and beyond for us. This location can not be beat for a relaxing, rejuvenating, and peaceful visit. The team really went the extra mile to solve our planning problems (I had many) and made us feel like family. Some of the cabins are pet-friendly which meant the world to us as my father is blind and needs his seeing-eye dog to get around. We knew there would be no hassle having friends bring their dogs too! The rooms are cozy and accessible, for those with mobility issues there are walkways and cabins on flat ground. We dream about sitting around that camp fire with all our friends and family often and are forever grateful to have found Belleayre Lodge!!

We got to know Cedar Lakes by attending winter weekends and pop-up dinners while planning our wedding. Frankly, we worried that was a mistake as we got close to our wedding day -- after we had experienced CLE's hospitality a few times, our expectations were through the roof. Turns out, not a problem. With the help of the people at Cedar Lakes and our incredible team of vendors, despite our anticipation, we were absolutely floored. It was beyond perfect. The people at Cedar Lakes - each and every one of them - embody a blend of warmth and professionalism I've never witnessed anywhere. They treated every guest like family, every event went off exactly as planned, and if there were any problems that arose during the day, we never heard about them. At every turn, the CLE team added unique surprises that matched our own and our guests' style perfectly. We left (reluctantly) on Monday morning feeling as though we'd made friends at CLE, and have been treated like family every time we've returned. This is really a special place for us, and I can't emphasize enough how much of that comes from each and every person who works so hard to make CLE what it is. The food gets its own paragraph. This isn't wedding food, and its not restaurant food. It's some of the best I've had anywhere, and the CLE team executes it perfectly whether for 2 or 200. Not only is the food insanely delicious, but it is plated beautifully in a way that compliments your decor and is always paired with perfect specialty cocktails, wines, and other beverages. This was a huge reason why we chose CLE, and we are still hearing about each and every meal from our guests. All that said, the best part about this venue is the setting - it is a surreal environment to be surrounded by friends and family for a weekend, and enabled us to spend quality time with the people we love during our wedding. We can't imagine a better set-up than CLE. Having accommodations for nearly the entire wedding on site (and being there for the whole weekend) allowed us to be truly present with our guests. We were able to share some meals and downtime with our friends and family in a more causal settings, and we felt like we were able to be a part of the weekend our guests experienced (which, honestly, we are still a bit jealous of -- sports fields, two pools, a beer garden, not to mention the lake and the blob). It warms our hearts to hear over and over from our guests, even to this day, that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. All in all, we looked at a lot of venues, and I cannot imagine having had our wedding anywhere else. This will forever be one of our favorite places on earth, and we're thrilled to see what's next for CLE and their team. It doesn't get any better than this.

We love Rustic Ridge! We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding here. There are so many things that we loved about it. The price of the venue was incredibly reasonable, and it allowed for a very personalized wedding which we loved (no required vendors). Wally, the owner, was amazing to work with. He had great recommendations for vendors, was very communicative and accommodating, and made the whole process so easy. We also loved that our friends could camp at the venue, which made figuring out transportation a lot easier. Lastly, the venue itself was so beautiful! Our guests gushed all night about what a perfect backdrop the valley was for the ceremony.
