By offering multiple-day use of the Camp, you can also incorporate "Camp Activities" like yard games, archery, swimming, tennis, and hiking into your celebration and really take advantage of spending time with your friends and family during this special time.

It all started with Alice Jaeger - the legend at the heart of the our story. In 1929, while the Pacific Coast Highway was under initial construction, Alice began plans for a homestead haven to offer travelers a place to rest & refuel. Alice planted cacti & succulents by hand throughout the land. With her husband, Steve, a ranch-style home was built in 1936. It later became a diner + tiny inn; a gathering place for locals and wanderers to rest, refuel, and nourish with a homegrown meal. That ranch-home is what we call Big Sur Bakery today. We're honored to carry on the traditions.
