Founded in 1905 by Ben Schrader and a group of local tavern owners and grocers, the original Falls City was formed to fight a big beer takeover in Louisville. In 1906, Otto Doerr was hired as our first brew master and our beer soon began appearing in local taverns. Shortly thereafter, a bottling plant was added and Falls City became one of the most popular breweries in Louisville, KY. The Falls City Beer Taproom in the NuLu neighborhood recently underwent transformation as PARLOUR steps in for a collaborative restaurant venture. The partnership highlights the shared commitment to quality and community between Falls City Beer and PARLOUR. Falls City Beer has been a popular choice at PARLOUR restaurants, and this venture represents a natural progression of the successful relationship between the two establishments.

Founded in 2012, West Sixth Brewing is located in a 100 year old building called the Bread Box, historically used for the Rainbo Bread Factory, in Lexington, Kentucky. We brew, can and bottle our beer out of this location We pride ourselves on the craft beer we make and having a positive impact on the communities we're a part of. The Barrel Room is our private event space in the brewery that we use to store all of our barrels of wild and sour aged beers. It is a casual space, with tile floor, and walls, with seating for up to 75 people. Although it is unconditioned, usually is very comfortable in the winter. In the summer, however, it can get hot! But if you want an easy place to host a party, with the atmosphere of the brewery, that's the place to do it. This room is equipped with a private bar.

Boone County Distilling Company is a wedding venue located in Independence, Kentucky. Newly completed, this Event Center is an expansion of the original distillery in Boone County. The West Sixth Farm is our 125 acre property off 127 in Franklin County. Here we have two venues: The Flat is a beautiful Kentucky farm wedding venue (holds up to 500 ppl) up at the top of the hill. We also have two canopies — one smaller and one larger covered structures with picnic tables, with the largest next to the taproom and the smaller one just a quick walk away in the shade - perfect for birthdays, friend gatherings, office parties, and more. The Taproom is only available for rent on weekdays that the Farm is closed to the public.

Walt's Hitching Post is a popular restaurant and private venue space in Ft. Wright, KY, minutes from downtown Cincinnati and CVG Airport. Walt’s sets the stage for couples to host an unforgettable celebration. The building, was used as a hunting lodge for Western & Southern executives in the early 1900s before being restored in 1942 by Walt Ballanger, who made his mark in the community by serving delicious smokehouse ribs. In 1958, Bill Melton purchased and successfully ran the business for 50 years. Today, Walt’s, under new ownership since 2012, continues to welcome people with a unique equestrian theme by preserving Walt's rich history and traditions. There are many photos of the late Melton's prized thoroughbreds. Walt's also showcases original exposed log walls and a cozy stone fireplace in the main dining room. Outside, the property has colorful landscaping, Walt’s Rib Smokehouse and stunning entry doors. Walt's has 4 private dining spaces that seat from 10 to 100 guests.
