“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

He laid it out and made it super easy for us to communicate what we wanted. Our wedding ran so smoothly because of him and the timeline he helped create for us. “I cannot even put in to words how thankful I am that we had Tyson as our DJ at our wedding!! Our day was absolutely perfect and a large part of that was due to Tyson’s organization, creativity and fun spirit. We have not stopped receiving messages asking who our DJ was and for his contact information because he was just THAT GOOD!!! The dance floor was so crowded and not a single guest left early because Tyson curated the most perfect party through music. He kindly listened to all of our silly requests for song choices and also was able to gauge the crowd for what music they enjoyed. There was not a single song played that the whole room wasn’t dancing to and I was afraid to leave the dance floor to get dessert or a drink for fear of missing out on whatever the next song was about to be. “Collin and his team at Sound Love were excellent to work with! Collin incorporates helpful tools to guide the planning of the music and schedule for the reception. We were able to use his app easily to think through what we wanted the night to feel and sound like. The app included useful spotify playlists to help us decide what types of songs we might want to consider for the big moments throughout the evening (entrance song, first dance, parent dance, etc.) We were able to work with him to customize how long we wanted certain songs to be as well.
