Near Montgomery, Auburn, and Birmingham, it is run by the Marr family, who is dedicated to making a couple’s wedding vision a memorable reality. Their goal is to ensure a seamless experience throughout the planning process and the event itself. The Marr family bought Marsgate in 2010 and since then it has been the site of many unforgettable get-togethers with loved ones. The Marrs' dream was to create an event venue that offered a luxurious and convenient venue complemented by amiable hospitality. Inside the mansion, couples and their guests will encounter classic architectural details accented by numerous amenities and stylish furniture. With 12 fireplaces, 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, lofty ceilings, and more, the mansion's sense of grandeur can be felt from the moment of arrival. Marsgate is located on a property spanning more than 70 acres with 20,000 square feet of space for weddings.

For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

BRIX is a new downtown historic venue for modern day celebrations. Opened in December and is perfect for micro weddings & small events. Industrial + lux with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors and velvets.

Azalea Cove Waterside is located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. We have great indoor spaces that can comfortably seat more than 60 for an after-rehearsal dinner and the main building can handle about 100. Outside are several covered pavilions, all with great views of the water and surrounding gardens and forest. There is plenty of room in a covered pavilion and around the swimming pools for a reception for about 300. We include tables & chairs but couples can choose their own caterer, florist, photographer, bartender, etc. for maximum flexibility though our on site wedding designer can assist and handle rentals if desired. The Lodge at Lake Martin is a luxury lakeview resort nestled in 16 acres of woods.
