The original stone structure was built by the Catwaba Island Wine Company in 1872, as a wine cooperative for local vineyard owners. The property was later sold and was known for producing American-made champagne. The historic European-inspired cellar vaults offer a unique experience for guests. Ten Fifty Eight Event Center is a sophisticated wedding venue situated in Sandusky, Ohio. The Encore Room, typically used for ceremonies, offers an inviting atmosphere for the "I do's" with string lights. The Ballroom is a spacious area with ample space for seating and a large dance floor. Sweethearts will work closely with event planner Bella. She can provide the couple with everything they need to host a successful event. Included in the facility package is set up & clean up, all dinnerware and barware, tables, chairs, linens, and lighting. Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those. If you want a formal event, we provide linens and table settings. We steam the tablecloths and set the tables. If you want an informal event, you provide table coverings and table settings. Hot tea, coffee, cream, and sweetners are provided. Salt and pepper and ice water are provided for the tables. We provide two dispensers for drinks. You can hire a caterer or bring your own food. All food must be prepared, and brought to the venue. Chafing dishes are provided. We serve the hot food.
