I can't recommend this company enough! From my first interaction with Rob to working with Nick on our wedding day, everything was so smooth and professional. I was looking for a non-traditional wedding DJ, someone who wasn't too cheesy or "in your face," and that is exactly what I found with this company. We loved working with Nick M. and had chosen him specifically because he was recommended for the type of music we prefer. He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. My only regret is that I didn't get to talk to Nick more amongst the craziness of the wedding day! I would highly recommend Second Song and Nick M. for all your wedding DJ needs!

We've been serving the event and wedding industry for over 25 years, specializing in high end exquisite weddings all across the United States. We have a team of Elite level DJs that each have a minimum of 25 years of experience as a DJ and MC. We specialize in weddings, corporate events and nightclubs. We also offer bilingual MC services in Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin.

We booked twinspin as our DJ and Photo Booths. DJ 4.5/5 We recently had our wedding and decided to hire Twin Spin Entertainment, which came recommended by our venue. While the owner, Young, was already booked, he introduced us to James, one of his experienced DJs. Our initial meeting with James went smoothly, and we felt confident moving forward with him and Twin Spin. The booking process was straightforward and easily managed through their website's client portal. The client portal also had very thorough questions such as laying out the specific songs for our ceremony, grand entrance, and first dance, etc. The client portal was also how we communicated which songs were on our do-not-play list, ceremony, dinner, and dancing. James arrived early to have everything set up and by the time our ceremony rolled around everything and everyone was ready to go. James did a great job both as an MC and DJ. While there were a couple of minor hiccups with timeline and announcements, he handled them well, keeping the flow of the event smooth. Since we had a lot of our older Asian guests, the dance floor wasn’t always packed, but we appreciated how James kept the energy up and mixed the music to appeal to everyone. The sound quality was great, and there were no major technical issues. All the microphones, speakers, and lights worked perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with Twin Spin and James, and we would definitely recommend them for any wedding or special event! Photo Booth 4.5/5 We knew we wanted to have a photobooth in our August 2024 wedding as it’s always a fun activity having attended previous weddings. Twin Spin offered this option along with their DJ services, and we selected them knowing that it would streamline and alleviate working with multiple vendors. We found their pricing reasonable after comparing other photobooth vendors. On the day of our wedding, the photobooth attendant came early to setup. She wrapped up early and our start and end time was 6-10pm which was a bit early than the original 6:30-10:30pm time. Overall the attendant was cordial and assisted our guests during use. There were slight miscommunications regarding meal and setup time, but otherwise our expectations were met. Twin Spin was able to explain and clarify this miscommunication and we provided feedback for communication for future clients. The photos turned out well, and we hope our guests took advantage of the service. The only feedback we received from our guests was that setup time was a bit slow, which we learned that it was the attendant’s first time setting up. Our vendor had good communication and responded quickly regarding our photobooth selection and receiving the photos.

I was blown away by the talent of the musicians, they really take their craft seriously. I requested a Roaring Twenties theme from Louis Pettinelli and they went above and beyond to make it happen. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.

Diego outreached me to provide a review as he started his own company. I was than happy to help write a review given the great experience we had with him. There are many things you’ll remember about your own wedding (e.g. the effort put into planning, the worry as some minor things go wrong and the epic time you had celebrating), but I never thought that our DJ would be one of the things we commonly reflect on. We selected the music, but Diego really brought it to life and made it a great event. His professionalism and energy will synergize with everything else at your wedding/event. Review from my wedding a few years ago: You can't really have a bad wedding DJ experience with VOX Djs. The company itself has a good standard template for everything. The general experience from the company is as follows: 1) You meet with their office manager, tell them about you and your significant other. They take down the data as you guys discuss. 2) You agree on a package/price. 3) You pick a couple of DJs from their online roster to interview. 4) You interview the DJs via phone or in person meet up pending location after their availability is confirmed. 5) Tell the office manager who you want. 6) You'll get automated emails to fill out surveys that include a timeline for the event and music selection (from their online library which is fairly extensive) 7) Meet up with the DJ a couple of weeks before the wedding 8) Have the wedding. It's a good standard process. Now, if you pick DJ Diego with VOX...you can have a GREAT wedding experience. Diego followed all of the above and put in a variety of extra effort. About 4 months before the wedding, he helped us with creating a custom mix for our first dance. He got back to us with the mix within a week. 3 months before the wedding, we decided we wanted a different mix. We chatted with him briefly over email and he redid the mix for us again. A few weeks before the wedding, we met up at a coffee shop. He agreed to meet us half way as the VOX offices were far. During this session he went over all details that we submitted via their standard template and took notes on everything. He worked on pronunciation of everyone's names, timing of all music (down to the second of when various clips would play) and essentially scripted out the entire evening. Diego showed up 30 mins early the day of to make the most of his set up time at the venue. He was dressed very professionally and understood how to manage the crowd (mix of older family and fun friends). He was courteous to everyone, made clear announcements to guide the guests throughout the venue, maintained energy all night and truly was the voice of the wedding. Nothing is for certain when it comes to your big day, but Diego is excellent at preplanning and quick on his feet to fix problems and keep the proper emotions flowing with his DJing and Emcee skills. I without hesitation recommend Diego to anyone interested in VOX.

One of the things that really stood out to us was how the DJ took the time to get to know our preferences and incorporate them into the playlist.
