Caitlin Cooper Photography

I’ll try to keep this short: I’m a silly, introverted, rule breaker with a sincere whimsical streak. Originally from Iowa with a decent chunk of time spent bopping between Minneapolis and Oregon, I love weddings + photography (duh), my nephew, a stiff gin + tonic, propagating too many damn houseplants, and my cats. Last I checked I’m an INFP, Enneagram 4, and Capricorn which makes me quite the pragmatic daydreamer + observer: as unnecessarily prepared as a Boy Scout, curiously creative, and hella laid back, all of which uniquely prepares me for the ebb and flow of a wedding day.

I can't say enough good things about Caitlin! My partner and I wanted more non-traditional portraiture for both our engagement photos and wedding and Caitlin just immediately understood the vibe we wanted. She's great at getting to know her clients and making you feel comfortable in front of the lens. Similarly, she just melts into the background during the wedding and captures everything you wanted and more, all without being front and center. You won't regret hiring her and I'd say book her while you still can, because she's only set to blow up more :)

Hey hey!! SO STOKED you're here! My name's Lennie! I'm based in Portland, OR but have been documenting engagements + tiny weddings all over the country since 2017. I'm a hardcore introverted enneagram 9 and am obsessed with my doggo, my husband, and all things travel!

Picking a photographer is not an easy task but once I saw Lennie's Instagram and realized she had done one of my favorite family photo shoots of my sister-in-law and her family, I knew it had to be her. After meeting her and going over wedding details I knew there wasn’t a better photographer for us out there. Lennie made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and during our engagement shoot. She had fun games to play that made for the cutest pictures. She is very responsive and quick to answer emails and was willing to do whatever she could to make sure I got everything I needed day of photographed. I truly couldn’t imagine the photos being any better and we’ve only received the sneak peek so far. Even the second shooter was super sweet and friendly. Our photos were the most important thing to us and Lennie exceeded ALL expectations, truly blew them out of the water and we are forever grateful to her and her talent! I'd post our entire engagement and wedding album if I could and I could write a book about how amazing she is!

Anchor and Pine Collective

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,800
  • Serves Junction City, OR

My inspiration comes from my time spent in stunning landscapes from the sea to the forest. I love capturing moments outdoors through photography. I have over 10 years of photography experience and love working with all couples. I am originally from Dallas, Texas, but have lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and two german shepherds. I went to film school at the University of Texas in Austin. Besides having a camera in hand, I enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, surfing, drinking kombucha, painting, singing, and traveling.

Awarded Best of Zola
As the Mother of the Bride, i cannot say enough about Helen, our wedding photographer. When my daughter and her husband researched photographers, they were drawn to Helen's photos and her editing skills. And the fact that she was competitively but reasonably priced was a plus. During the planning process she was very accessible, and answered emails with complete and clear information. She is a warm and friendly person, but at the same time very professional. She had several virtual meetings with the bride and groom, and took care of every detail so that by the big day, we knew what to expect. During the wedding and reception, Helen was there to get the best shots without ever being in anyone's way. She emailed some beautiful shots after a few days, and then it only took three weeks to get the entire portfolio sent back to us! The newlyweds are absolutely in love with their photos. These pictures captured feelings and emotions, as well as wonderful visions of a perfect day. The wedding was at TImberline/Mt. Hood, and since Helen is a master of nature photography, the end result was perfect. I cannot recommend Anchor and Pine Collective enough!

I am a sentimental wedding photographer who loves celebrating free-spirited and natural couples who love the outdoors. Camping has always been my church. The outdoors are my sanctuary. I believe in presence over presents. I believe in pushing boundaries, giving time is better than gifts and comfort over style. Elopements and intimate weddings are my primary specialty, but if my work resonates with you, let's talk!

Awarded Best of Zola
Erica was so great to work with from start to finish. She was beyond helpful when discussing possible locations and building the perfect itinerary based on what we wanted. She took us to spots that we never would have known were possible to get to and the photos were amazing. Erica is a very fun and friendly person. You will feel so comfortable throughout the entire session. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Artistic storytelling for the fun, kind and adventurous. Hi friend! :) I'm your neighborhood artist, goofy empath, & lover of dogs and human beans. (Name is pronounced Hasmeen, kinda like jalapeño) My goal is to be a source of joy and vulnerability in your life while helping you feel grounded on your big day and ~even more~ grateful for the life you live and the love you choose.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jazmín made our wedding day so incredibly special, capturing every detail and all the big moments as well. She is SO talented! From being willing to balance on a mossy log to get some gorgeous water pictures to making my husband and me (and our bridal party) feel so comfortable in front of a camera, Jazmín is so professional, kind, and has an eye for capturing the feeling and beauty of a place. She covered our day from beginning to end, and without her, we wouldn't have had many pictures from our day. We've never had professional photos taken of us before, and every photo Jazmín has taken of us is our favourite. We feel REALLY lucky to have had her there to capture so many moments of that day and to be able to look back on her work brings back so many happy memories. Thank you, Jazmín! (BOOK HER for your engagement shoots, your weddings, your family portraits - it'll be the BEST thing you do!).

Maria Newman Photography

  • Serves Junction City, OR

I’m a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I’ve documented hundreds of couples’ love stories over the past 11 years, traveling all over the United States and beyond, and it has been one of the biggest honors of my life. I received my degree in photojournalism in 2010 and chose to pursue documenting love instead of local and world news events, but my background in photojournalism greatly guides how I approach my duty as a wedding photographer. I always strive to capture the day how it happened: the love, the laughter and the tears. I want you to look back at your wedding images for decades to come with joy and pride.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Maria enough! From the beginning with our engagement photos to the end with our wedding, Maria was nothing but fantastic. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is incredibly passionate about her craft and truly cares about the people she photographs. She was so patient with us during our engagement shoot, and made such an effort to know all the tiny details of our wedding. An entire paragraph could be written on how talented she is, but her gorgeous images speak for themselves! She makes magic happen at weddings, catching all the details and in-between moments, and delivers such beautifully authentic photographs. It was a lovely experience working with her, and so reassuring to know that, through an already stressful time, we were in good hands. Thank you, Maria, for capturing all the love at our wedding! We will cherish these photographs for a lifetime.

Hello there! I’m Amy. My roots are here in the PNW, (Edmonds, Washington to be exact) but I spent most of my life in Texas waiting for the day when I could move my family home to the northwest. I have 5 sons (yep, 5!) and have to pinch myself when I think about my amazing family and this career that has taken my husband and I all over the world. I value experience and relationships over material things, and work mostly with couples who are planning smaller weddings or elopements. After 12 years and 300+ weddings, I’ve learned that connection and authenticity are essential to who I am, and the way that I work.

Awarded Best of Zola
I have worked with Amy multiple times in multiple weddings and love her ability to work with her clients and obviously she has an incredible product. Can't wait for my next opportunity!

I’m Sam, a TEDx speaker, author, native Oregonian, and adventure elopement expert. And I regret my wedding. Oooof, right? I cried on my wedding day. They weren’t happy tears, either. Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. Imagine having an adventure elopement day that includes whatever floats your boat. Whether it’s adrenaline-packed, laughter-filled, chill vibes, or all of the above. Then add in a kickass connection between you & your partner that’s enabled by dedicating that day TO YOU.

Awarded Best of Zola
Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. I’ve already had friends and colleagues come up to me asking how to elope like we did. My advice is, “Here’s Sam’s contact info – you need to call her.”

Welcome to Taira Marie Photography, we are excited that you have found us! Take your time browsing around to learn a little bit about us and our style. We are here for you if you have any questions and are looking forward to connecting with you!

Deciding on a wedding photographer is not an easy task because you know these are once-in-a-lifetime memories to be captured, but choosing and working with Taira Marie Photography was nothing short of extraordinary. We discovered their Instagram through our Wedding venue, as they had worked together on some events and photoshoots, and I was immediately drawn to the photography style. It was completely serendipitous to find out that they had our wedding date available and hit it off with their team on our first meeting. Our package came with an engagement shoot, which gave us an opportunity to really get comfortable in front of the cameras, they turned out lovely and we realized how truly passionate Taira is about her job. The photography team worked with us to hit every "shot list" photo we wanted to get on our big day and captured the most beautiful details. Taira and Joey felt like family at our wedding and have been so good to us with their communication and professionalism. Our wedding album just arrived (hand-delivered too!) and it's amazing, I'll never forget how we felt that day because it's so wonderfully and thoroughly portrayed with their photography.

We're Natasha and Brian! A husband and wife, PNW elopement photographer duo. When we're not getting slimed by our own slobbery dog Fern, or helping you plan your dream wedding day, you can probably find us alpine lake lounging, making a weird new kimchi flavor, or deep on the forestry roads in our (always dirty) Tacoma blasting some indie alt or rap (there's rarely an in between lol). We're your photographers, die-hard dog petters, and donut-eaters that are all about playful banter, real conversations, and no icky small talk.

For me and my now-husband Ryan, the importance of finding an excellent wedding photographer was unparalleled. We discovered Natasha and immediately were drawn to the nostalgic, film quality to her work. We love the way she captures moments that feel both so real and so dreamy at the same time. It’s an art! Additionally, correspondence with Natasha was always a pleasure. She was speedy in her responses, always answered any questions, and just extremely down-to-earth and easy going. Our introduction to working with Natasha came from our winter engagement session. We chose to do the shoot at home and around our neighborhood in Seattle. Though we were still nervous in front of the camera, Natasha chatted with us and helped us open up. The photos from this December day were cozy, comfortable, and felt completely like us! And finally the Big Day arrived! Natasha and Brian photographed our July 2023 wedding and the results were just perfect - more lovely than we could have dreamed. On top of that, we loved getting to hang out with them! They made our wedding day feel calmer, more relaxed, and allowed us to just be us. We highly recommend Natasha and Brian for all your engagement and wedding photography needs. They’re the best!

Adventure Stories

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Junction City, OR

Our story began with our mutual love of craft beer at a small brewery in Portland, Oregon. We met on a double-blind date and while our friends and the other half of the date never spoke again, we never stopped talking (and yes, pickup lines involving beer do work apparently!). Even though craft beer can strengthen just about any relationship, our shared love of adventure sealed the deal. We spent the next few years of our whirlwind romance exploring the Pacific Northwest

We hired Adventure Stories for both their photography and videography services for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! We enjoyed working with both Megan and Vishnu every step of the wedding planning process. From our first emails, to the actual day of the wedding, Megan and Vishnu were both friendly and professional. We had to work through many changes to our wedding due to Covid-19, and Megan and Vishnu were there to help and support us through every change. When we had questions or requests, Megan and Vishnu were there to help us, and were very flexible and caring. We appreciate the careful consideration they take when approaching each couple and client's story, that was one of the things that set them apart for us. Megan and Vishnu very much focus on telling your story! Their work is not only extremely beautiful, but is created with the couple/client in mind. We could not recommend Adventure Stories more, and we highly suggest hiring them as a pair, as they were a joy to work with as a couple!

I' m Courtney, a photographer based in Salt Lake City Utah where I live with my husband and English bulldog, Winston. I began photographing at the age of 10 years old when I picked up my first pink camera from toys r us. I did little photoshoots with the neighbor kids and boy has that been one of the best decisions yet. I have been a professional photographer for 5 years. Capturing love, couples, self-love sessions, and so many incredible stories. Photography is the gift that keeps on giving. I have made the deepest connections and friendships, and been blessed with the opportunity to story tell and create art full-time.

Courtney did our engagements and our wedding day and it was beyond anything we could have hoped for! She was so intentional about making sure we were a right fit and we fell in love the moment we met her! She made us feel so comfortable and she was incredibly efficient! She made sure to capture every moment that was so important to us and we know that every photo will be magical. She coached us, cheered us on, and is a wonderful friend. If you want to feel like the only couple in the world, you should book her! Her photos really are absolutely priceless.

First and foremost, congratulations! This is an exciting time! Before I begin with all the details, I would like to do away with the formalities and keep it light. Technically speaking, I’m a photographer, but honestly, since establishing my business in 2014, I would consider myself a teammate through this process. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know couples, their families, their stories, and at the end of the day, becoming a good friend. If this vibes with you, we are off to a good start :) Answering questions, transparency in communication, and prompt responses are important to me and I hope that everything I share resonates.

Justin was absolutely incredible!! He was able to impeccably capture the beauty and joy of the day. A lot of photographers we considered had beautiful photos, but the reason we went with Justin was because you could feel the joy come through the photos and it paid off! Justin sent us the high quality, well edited photos faster than I have ever heard any wedding photographer get pictures to the bride and groom and he made it very easy for us to share those pictures with family and friends. Not only did Justin deliver beautiful photos that captured the mood of the day, but he went above and beyond his photographer duties. When all of the bridal party was racing around with wet fingernails, Justin stepped in to help button the many buttons on my dress. When we were running late to get to the ceremony, Justin called the front desk at the venue to make sure our ride was waiting for us to get to the ceremony ASAP. I cannot recommend Justin enough!!!

Hi, I'm Sophia, a 26-year-old wedding photographer based just outside DC in NoVA. Capturing love stories through my lens is not just a job but a profound joy that I cherish with every wedding I photograph. It's been six years and I've photographed close to 100 weddings which seems unreal! The photography gene runs in my family, my great-grandfather had his own photography studio in Panama and from there, knowledge of photography was passed down through the generations of my family to me. I believe in always having fun and prioritizing an stress-free lifestyle which translates into my photography style — vibrant, authentic, and joyful.

I cannot recommend working with Sophia enough. She was communicative, prompt and very efficient. She really worked with us what we wanted for the day in a short time frame and the photos just speak for themselves. We truly could not be happier that we chose to work with her!
