We are Carli & Hamilton Dixon, artists and business owners in downtown Dayton for nearly a decade, and residents of downtown for over two decades. The Brightside is located in the 905 E. Third Street building, which was 18,000 sq. ft. filled with abandoned clothes and trash when we purchased it. But over the last 10 years, we have worked to clean it out, restore all of its services, and renovate it to become Dayton's newest music & event venue. It has been a long and difficult road, so we are thrilled to be at this point in the story. We invite you to stop in and introduce yourself soon; we truly look forward to welcoming you!

Strongwater Events is a dynamic industrial wedding venue housed in the middle of a century old warehouse in the Franklinton Arts District, just outside of downtown Columbus, OH. We have three distinct spaces all connected to each other to allow for many different sized weddings. We share the warehouse with Strongwater Food & Spirits and 400 West Rich artist studios and are extremely grateful to be a part of this thriving hub of creativity! We're located just minutes from downtown Columbus and surrounded by a vibrant community. The warehouse was originally built in 1911 and has been preserved and reimagined into the chic industrial space it is today. Established in October of 2017, Pretentious is the first brewery in Columbus to specialize exclusively in barrel-aged sour ales. Our extensive knowledge of the symbiotic relationship between beer and wood results in consistent, quality sours. By manufacturing a wide range of beer along the sour spectrum, our consumers can ease their way into this unique style. Our goal is to produce award-winning sours that change people’s perspectives regarding craft beer. Our taproom is the perfect intimate setting for craft beer enthusiasts, sour savants, and anyone looking for that rustic and industrial look for their wedding.

Our space has a lodge like feel with post and beam construction, 2 large fireplaces, a moose head and lots of dark handsome woodwork. 2 of our rooms have large windows overlooking our pond and fountain. We have 2 bars, and 38 outside tables. Our front patio has a large stone gas fireplace and our back patio overlooks the pond.

Standing the test of time since the 1800’s, the Baum Opera House has played a significant role in the life and history of Miamisburg. Constructed by Charles Baum, a German immigrant and businessman, it began as the Star City Opera House, one of the finest in Ohio. Combustion Brewery & Taproom's Private Event Space is a versatile venue perfect for receptions and weddings. Situated above the Brewery & Taproom, The Loft offers 7,200 square feet of private space that features an abundance of sunlight, plenty of room to accommodate your group, and the unique character of the historic Pickerington Creamery Building.
