Wild Wines

5.0

Jacksonville, OR
  • Venue
  • Up to 180 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,000

Our location is on 12.6 acres of land on the Little Applegate River. The property is home to a small winery and tasting room, Wild Wines, and residents. The wedding ceremony location is perched above the river under the shade of large cedar and oak trees, but you may also choose your preferred location anywhere on the property. The celebration area is around the winery where the bar and bathroom can be accessed and where food service and seating can be set up, as well as electricity. As we are primarily an outdoor venue, we ask that you please keep this in mind before requesting to connect. Depending the time of year, you may require a tent for shade or rain protection. This is not something we provide, but we are happy to refer you to local outfitters. The main indoor area is the tasting room, seen in photos, which is best suited for the bar area, hors d'ouevres, gifts, cake service. Some of the outdoor area has shade available.

Awarded Best of Zola
The team at Wild Wines was very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Carla, the owner, was responsive to all of our questions and accommodating of our needs. The space itself was great - it was pretty big and beautiful, with lots of natural light and a lovely outdoor patio area. We were able to personalize the decor to fit our style, and the overall value was excellent. We're so glad we chose Wild Wines for our special day!

My role isn't just about capturing stunning images; it's about being your anchor, guiding you through the whirlwind of emotions and joy that comes with your special day. I specialize in capturing both the poised elegance and authentic moments, all while harnessing the natural light that defines my business name. Whether your wedding is a lavish affair or an intimate elopement, I'm equipped to handle it all. From climbing mountains for the perfect shot to capturing the charm of a luxurious venue, I'm dedicated to turning your vision into reality.

Calea was amazing from start to finish! I live in GA and got married in OR. All I saw was her IG and a brief conversation to book. I could not be more impressed with her and her work. I put all my faith into her from across the country and she did not let me down. Calea is so easy to work with and she is up for anything! Calea had sneak peaks to us immediately and a full gallery delivered in less than 2 weeks! My husband was skeptical at first but when he saw her work, he was absolutely blown away and how phenomenal she is! Calea also isn't afraid to be the voice if you are uneasy with telling others what they need to do. We had her at our Venue the day of the wedding. The next day we took a trip to Crater Lake and she captured my vision perfectly!! I have recommended Calea and True Light Photography to all of my friends and family!

MaddyKate Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding photography. Maddy had an effective communication style - she responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and was personable in all of our interactions. Her documentary photography style resulted in high quality photos that truly captured the spirit of our big day. Maddy helped us create a vision for what we wanted our wedding photos to convey. On the wedding day itself, she blended into the background while still getting all the key moments on camera. She made our day a breeze by being exactly where she needed to be, when she needed to be there. The final wedding photo album Maddy created for us is something we will treasure for years. I would highly recommend MaddyKate Photography for wedding photography services

Jesi B. Photography

I truly found a love for storytelling once I got into weddings. Weddings are these multifaceted microcosms of stories and relationships that continue to keep me fascinated and excited about capturing them. I find that my style leans towards an editorial, documentary storytelling side, with hints of sophisticated moody & edgy. You feel the emotions of the moment when looking back on your photos I have captured just for you.

Jesi photographed our intimate wedding on the coast and I am so in love with all of my photos! She really knows how to bring your vision to life and is a true artist! She made the experience so personal and really went above and beyond! I highly recommend Jesi if you’re looking for a photographer for your big day!

Red Aspen Photography

  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Jacksonville, OR

I have been a professional wedding photographer for 8+ seasons and captured hundreds of weddings from the Rocky Mountains to the West Coast. I am both a storyteller and historian with my camera in hand. I love to incorporate the amazing landscapes with rich colors and natural light. My focus is on my couples feeling comfortable in front of the camera. I like to give some direction and allow for real moments to happen rather than anything being forced. My work has been featured everywhere from ABC (The Bachelor franchise), Green Wedding Shoes, Oregon Wedding Day, BRIDES.

We are getting married in Sunriver next summer and wanted to find the perfect photographer. Red Aspen came highly recommended from our wedding planner - and after our first experience with her at our engagement photoshoot it is so easy to see why. From the minute we started working with her she has been a reliable communicator & a joy to be around! The day of our photo shoot, unexpected weather occurred and she used her expertise to produce the most incredible art. She navigated this with flexibility, optimism, and turned it into a better experience than we could have hoped for. Her eye for a beautiful shot is paralleled only by her ability to capture candid & authentic photos while making you feel natural & easy-going on camera. We cannot wait to work with her at our wedding!! Thank you a million Ashleigh!

Sam Starns Adventure Elopements

  • Photographer

  • Serves Jacksonville, OR

I’m Sam, a TEDx speaker, author, native Oregonian, and adventure elopement expert. And I regret my wedding. Oooof, right? I cried on my wedding day. They weren’t happy tears, either. Let me tell you my story. I had a day that wasn’t really about the connection I had with my husband. It wasn’t about who we were as people and about the things we loved. It wasn’t “us”. Imagine having an adventure elopement day that includes whatever floats your boat. Whether it’s adrenaline-packed, laughter-filled, chill vibes, or all of the above. Then add in a kickass connection between you & your partner that’s enabled by dedicating that day TO YOU.

Awarded Best of Zola
Let’s start off with the fact that the whole week we were in Alaska felt like a blur, because it was truly more awe-inspiring than anything we could’ve imagined, making it SO hard to go back to reality after this fantasy adventure that Sam helped us cook up. There were helicopters, tons of different sights, glaciers, and MOOSE! One thing we loved about working with Sam was that it never really felt like we took posed photos; there were prompts and directions, but it really was genuine, she captured us just being weirdly us. Jeff complained about getting his photos taken in the months leading up to our elopement, but the experience was way better than expected (he grew up despising cameras) and all of our photos are so full of life, taking us back to that exact time and place. Also, Sam suggested thinking about our day as an adventure first and a wedding second, and it really helped us realize the potential and plan a day that was way more badass and memorable than any traditional wedding! We certainly don’t feel like we missed out on anything by eloping; in fact, we feel the experience was more meaningful and intentional because we got to experience all of these new adventures together that were uniquely us. I’ve already had friends and colleagues come up to me asking how to elope like we did. My advice is, “Here’s Sam’s contact info – you need to call her.”

When deciding on whether or not we should have a videographer at our wedding, my fiancé and I were on the fence. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding day! It is by far my most cherished take away from our day. Michael was a dream to work with. He was punctual and prepared. He is incredibly creative and a true visionary. With little to no direction from me, he captured every precious moment, and created a wedding video beyond what I could’ve ever dreamed of. As a hairstylist I have shared my wedding video with well over 100 people, and almost every single one has told me it’s the most amazing wedding video they’ve ever seen. Ceremony DJs

5.0

  • DJ
  • Starts at $2,999
  • Serves Jacksonville, OR

Full custom theme weddings from San Francisco's leading indie DJs. Share your love of music with family and friends. We're here to help you make your wedding sound like the mixtape you exchanged when you first met.

Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!

Something Borrowed Blooms

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

I ordered the silk magnolia bouquet (Shelbie Bridal Bouquet - Hand tied) and opted for the scent to be added. They arrived and already looked perfect with very minimal fluffing/adjustment. I was nervous the scent would be strong or too artificial but it was light and natural. They photographed beautifully and let me have a taste of home with the magnolias all the way across the country. Gorgeous.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I ordered the "peaches and cream" small package. We decided to skip on ceremony florals, and only have handhelds and bud vases at the reception. We did buy a few more flowers from the grocery to add more peach once the flowers arrived. We made and medium sized bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, and 7 bouts. (With lots of flowers left over). My bridesmaids and I did the arranging the morning before the wedding; it was fun, and a great start to the weekend. None of us had experience, but it all turned out great! If you or your bridal party are mildly crafty, I'd highly recommend it!

Lacie was absolutely phenomenal to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the moment we jumped on a phone call to see if they were a right fit, I knew they would be. Her enthusiasm, understanding, outgoing way that she relates to people is an energy that you want on your big day. Our engagement session was incredible, she moves so quickly but efficiently, as to ensure you get all the shots you want, but is very mindful of time. Our wedding day was COMPLETE because of Lacie. In addition to her positive attitude, she helped smooth the timeline of events during the day when exterior factors were impacting the photography, and problem solved so wonderfully on the spot. My husband and I LOVED working with Ali for our wedding at the Picnic House in Prospect Park! She was responsive to all of our questions and quick to answer calls and emails. On the day, she put everyone at ease and corralled everyone to get through the family portraits quickly. She totally captured our vision for the day and we're so happy with how our photos came out! We absolutely recommend working with Ali for your special day.
