It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. Located in the heart of Amish Country in historic Lancaster County, the mansion was built around 1845 by Captain William Fassitt as a place to host lavish parties and entertain guests. Which has the unique distinction of having been a stop for the underground railroad Today, guests still arrive to enjoy the tranquility of the rolling farmlands, or to take the short drive to outlet shopping, Longwood Gardens and the many Amish attractions of the region. The main house sleeps up to 24 with seven bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms. The Fassitt Mansion and its two acres of grounds also provide the perfect setting for weddings

The Barn at Flying Hills is a 100 year old barn with it's authentic stone walls, barnwood floors, and beautiful ceremony garden out back. The Barn seats up to 125 guests and you are welcome to choose your own caterer and vendors to bring with you to your unique wedding. With the ceremony garden out back and two separate event rooms included with the venue rental, there is plenty of room to have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place!

When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Wedding ceremonies may be held anywhere on Camp Oak Hill property, but couples typically take advantage of the Williamson Amphitheater in the woods.
