The Sunset Coffee Building is located at 1019 Commerce Street, Houston, TX at the intersection of Main Street and Buffalo Bayou next to Allen’s Landing, the “Plymouth Rock” of the City of Houston. Built in 1910, the Sunset Coffee Building was originally a coffee roasting company. In the late 60’s it was home to the Love Street Light Circus, a psychedelic music club featuring many local bands. In 2003, the building was purchased by Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) as part of the organization’s master plan to revitalize Buffalo Bayou. The Sunset Coffee Building offers three rentable spaces for special events. The Rooftop Terrace looks out over the intersection of Buffalo and White Oak Bayous, the original site of the Port of Houston. The Middleton venue is a brand new event venue that just finished building in September 2023. This cozy luxurious event center is also a historical replica of the Stewart and Wright drugstore that was once in old Katy! Your Something Old & New! Olde Dobbin Station will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents. Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains' steam.

Hidden in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas, we are located on the edge of the untouched Sam Houston National Forest, where we have carved out an amazing space to give your wedding an authentically magical setting. We have three huge, connected Nordic Tipis with an elevated hardwood dancefloor, hand-built poplar banquet tables, an indoor stage, and staging areas for buffet, sit down catering, and bar service. On our outdoor ceremonial stage, we have erected a naked tipi covered in fairy lights with aisle seating consisting of long cedar benches for an authentic woodsy wedding experience. Let us amaze you.

- It's a two level newly built luxury facility; - We have 2 different spacious ballrooms. The main one (ground floor) can be used for events for 100-300 people. There are 3 beautiful teardrop chandeliers and wall dimmable lights which make the ballroom look very elegant and luxurious. This ballroom is fully set with the best professional lighting equipment, disco ball, spot lights, neon lights etc.; - Second floor ballroom can be used for smaller parties for 15-30 people. Or can be used as a Bride and Groom room. This ballroom is also having some extra disco lights; - We have an elevator; - 3 full restrooms: 2 downstairs near the main ballroom and 1 upstairs; - Very nice elegant lobby; - Both ballrooms are fully equipped with professional audio systems. Built for the Richard S. Willis family in 1854. Hodge Podge Lodge was originally called "Melrose" in memory of an estate owned by his ancestors in Scotland. The home started as a four room, story and a half house with a detached kitchen. Throughout the house, one can trace the outline of the original footprint by noticing the wide plank flooring in the parlor, formal dining room and library. During the civil war era the massive lawn, with huge oak and pecan trees, quickly became a favorite place for many young people in town for picnics and family gatherings.
