Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Hidalgo, IL

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

This was by far one of the best decisions and money savers I could’ve done for myself. The flowers were top quality, beautiful, and we had a blast putting them together with our family. Flower Mocie is simple and they have videos that will help you prepare in advance for your vision and piecing your bouquets together. I was quoted 5000 for florals by other vendors, but with flower moxie and a little creativity, we only spent 500 to cover 12 bouquets and 16 boutonnières. HIGGLY RECOMMEND

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Hidalgo, IL

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Marigolds Florals

5.0

  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Hidalgo, IL for additional fees

A story similar to many others during the recent years, when Anika's steady work in TV/Film came to a grinding halt during the pandemic, she asked herself "now what?!" Soon after, she rediscovered her love of flowers and decided to take on small projects when she had the time. Born was her love affair for flowers and specifically her company, Marigolds Florals. Now offering bookings for weddings and events in 2025-2026 she is ready to take Marigolds to the next level.

Marigolds Florals was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first consultation, the team was attentive, friendly, and truly understanding of our vision. They listened closely to our ideas and incorporated so many personal touches that made the florals feel unique and tailored just for us. The set up and breakdown on the day of the wedding was seamless, and the energy the Marigolds team brought was wonderful. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - the bouquet, centerpieces, and other arrangements were all so thoughtfully designed and overflowed with creativity. Many of our guests and the wedding venue staff commented on how beautiful and impactful the florals were. We felt we received incredible value for the investment, and would highly recommend Marigolds Florals to any couple planning their wedding.
