Andrew is a professional guitarist and singer who writes original music and performs cover songs of diverse styles to fit any event. Andrew studied music at Five Towns College in Dix Hills and graduated top of his class. After playing in the Long Island music scene for years, he turned his focus into performing for weddings and special events.

Hobie, a Marist Alumni & Up With People Alumni, has performed hundreds of events all over the United States as well as in other countries.

We have been in business since 1978 (nearly double that of any Vermont Wedding DJ company) and have done over 8,000 weddings since our founding. Based in Staten Island, New York, Cause and The Effects is an enthusiastic band comprised of young musical professionals ready to perform at your wedding. The band was founded in 2011 but the versatile members have been playing together and separately for more than two decades. You can choose between a seven-, eight-, or 10-piece band to perform at your reception, while smaller groups can perform during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Show-stopping music is performed with a variety of instruments such as horns, percussion, saxophones, flute, and piano. They are based in Staten Island but are willing to travel to destination weddings.
