We are a unique, family-owned and -operated wedding and event venue located on 10 acres, just 5 miles East of The Woodlands. Lone Star Hall, our existing barn, has a familiar dance hall feel and our amazing outdoor space feels like your own backyard. San Jacinto Hall, our brand-new modern farmhouse, can accommodate up to 225 guests and has an amazing back porch overlooking a grassy courtyard and the pond! Rentals range from Venue Only up to All-Inclusive or can be customized to anywhere in between. Alcohol must be purchased through the venue, but other than that, we have a 100% open vendor policy with no fees for outside vendors.

The venue itself is truly versatile - whether you're looking for something modern, romantic, or rustic, they can accommodate. Our wedding had a timeless, romantic theme with a fun dance party vibe. The twinkle lights outside, large black and white hall, and charming chapel with stained glass windows were the perfect backdrop. Stephanie and her staff ensured every detail was flawlessly executed, keeping us on schedule and well-fed and hydrated throughout the night. I'm a self-proclaimed control freak, but I had zero anxiety leading up to the wedding because I knew Townhall Texas had it all under control. It was truly a dream wedding, and we're so grateful to Stephanie and the Townhall Texas team for making it all happen.”

Tired of the same wedding barn look? This 1883 historic Laundry building is the epitome of a unique venue. It has several spaces to choose from- from an intimate 50 person ballroom (great for ceremonies) to a larger 150 person main reception area. The outdoor terrace has beautiful party lights and allows the party to spill outside. There is also a 2 bedroom apartment that can be included to use as a bridal suite or to house the couple. The flexible space is set up with A/V and projector and comes with square tables that can be arranges in multiple ways. We are an open vendor venue and you can provide your own alcohol (with TABC bartending) saving you money. Or leave the planning to us and check out our affordable all-inclusive options. Stand out from the rest and hold your celebration in a venue steeped in history.

From the moment we first reached out, the staff was extremely responsive and flexible, working with us to customize the space to our exact needs. The industrial, unique atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we felt we got great value for the reasonable pricing. They also provided a lot of the basic decor, saving us money. The Retreat at Hempstead is nestled on five acres. The property includes a beautiful newly renovated 4900 sq. ft. country home - THE RETREAT HOUSE and a 1600 sq. ft. event venue - THE BARN at THE RETREAT. The Retreat House has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and kids/teen sleeping and lounge room. Accommodates 23 people (up to 28). Large game room with air hockey, shuffleboard, poker table and bar, living room area, dining table seats 14, breakfast room seats 6, and kitchen bar seating. The multi-purpose room with mounted flat screen television is ideal for meetings and presentations, wellness and yoga, arts and crafts.
