David’s Country Inn exceeded our expectations from beginning to end! After visiting multiple venues, the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its charm and knew it was the perfect choice for us. Opting for a Thursday wedding turned out to be a fantastic decision! On our special day, the staff was exceptional, the food was delicious and served promptly, and the cocktail hour was filled with all our selected dishes, while the bar staff efficiently managed the crowd. They also have a fantastic selection of preferred vendors! Our event coordinator, Kristian, along with Maitre'Ds Brenda and Brandon, were simply outstanding! Their communication, both via email and on the day itself, was seamless. Everything unfolded even better than I had envisioned! I did encounter a decor hiccup with the arch behind my sweetheart table, which my husband had crafted. On the wedding day, I was trying to adjust it when Brenda noticed my struggle. She immediately stepped in, reassured me, and took charge of the situation. Thanks to her, the arch turned out beautifully, just as I had hoped, and I was so relieved! I truly don’t know what I would have done without her help. Choosing DCI for our wedding was the best decision we could have made, and our day was absolutely flawless! We wholeheartedly recommend them!

I could not have asked for a better place to have my ceremony and reception. The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful and if for whatever reason the weather wasn’t gorgeous the indoor barn space as a plan B for the ceremony was also so stunning. My day of coordinator Dani and Bridal attendant Ashley were both so sweet and wonderful to work with. They were on top of everything so I didn’t have a single worry during our day. I received so many compliments on how professional and attentive the staff was and even more on how great the food tasted. We opted to use the wine cellar for a bourbon tasting and that too was a huge hit! I truly cannot thank all of Knowlton Mansion and their crew enough for helping make our day everything we’ve hoped and dreamed for!

The venue itself is breathtaking—elegantly designed with gorgeous views, and it has an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and intimate. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Especially when we had a lot of challenges finding a venue for an Indian wedding to fit all your needs! Dreams really do come true at the Tides! The best thing you can do is book your wedding there. From the day we booked and leading up to our big day Michael was very forthcoming and helpful. He was very responsive, followed up on all my questions and made sure we felt supported. The venue itself looks out of a fairytale. They are in a rural location so the greenery as you drive up is beautiful. The inside looks akin to a palace with many rooms and a beautiful lobby.  You don't even have to decorate too much because the place itself is so elegant and classy. The garden is soooo breathtaking. They have 2 ceremony spaces outside, beautiful flowers and greenery. Plus it's so big! You get a lot of bang for your buck. I didn't hire a day of coordinator and I basically planned everything myself with the bridal party, but the Maitre D and venue staff were very instrumental in making sure our event ran smoothly. I was super nervous thinking about the day of. I planned everything out but couldn't leave my seat because hello, I'm the bride lol. I was getting ready all morning.  But thanks to our Maitre D Alberto, the event flower perfectly. He kept us on time. Helped get the bridal party together. He literally went above and beyond. It's so incredible just thinking back to it. I know some venues are hands off. But the staff was just so dedicated to making our every request happen if possible. Thanks to Alberto, our wedding day went by beautifully without any hitch or drama. It's unbelievable because I heard there is always some kind of issue the day of. We paid for a 6am opening so me and my bridesmaids could get ready at the venue. Michael set up a wonderful breakfast in the bridal suite it was like being home! We were so comfortable and we're ready on time for our 11am start. Truly wonderful. We had the small bridal suite so to our small party but it was super nice and a great set up for getting ready! The food and the drinks were to die for. First of all, the cocktail hour was loaded with so much food! Not only do they include a variety of delicious hor'devours. You get to choose from from different entrees and stations. The guest are still raving about it a month later! Everything was excellent. From the presentation to the quality of the meals, it was the best wedding food I've ever had. When the reception came all the guests were too stuffed for their reception entrees! My cake came from David's Custom Cakes, their partner. I got the dulce de leche filling and let me tell you it was so rich! I'm definitely coming back the next time I need a cake! Honestly I am a happy bride. I have no regrets, in fact it was even better than I imagined! Don't hesitate to book them, you will not regret it!

If you are looking for a perfect wedding venue, look no further, Felina is it! From the moment that my fiancé and I toured the venue we knew that we had to have our wedding there. Carissa was the absolute best. Every single question that we asked, she had an answer to. She was extremely responsive and in the days leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day she and her team made our day memorable. We are weeks out from our wedding and our guests are still raving about how good the food, drinks, and service was at Felina. The venue is gorgeous with the vault and floating chandelier. There are so many good spots to take gorgeous pictures. There are 2 bars and the drinks kept flowing! If you are worried about the ceremony and reception being in the same place, don’t stress! They flipped the room in 42 min flat and as our guests were eating and drinking on the mezzanine during cocktail hour. Our guests didn’t even notice the room flip. It was also nice that on the day of our wedding the Felina rooftop was open to the public. So after the reception our guests could go to the roof to buy their own drinks and enjoy the view of Ridgewood. I couldn’t be more happy with picking Felina to have our ceremony and reception and if I had to, I’d pick them 100 more times. Thank you for making our wedding day so special for me, my husband, our families and friends!

Our experience with the Douglaston Manor was an actual dream come true! From the moment we walked in to see the Manor, Kathy, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful. Relaxed, sweet, and so caring about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured or nervous and gently made suggestions which ended up making our night even better than we could have hoped. Working with Carlos our Maitre D and Michelle my Bridal Attendant was a blessing. Michelle was so attentive and helpful. Within minutes of meeting her, I felt like I was spending time with a good friend. She was so funny, kept me calm and literally did anything and everything I needed- most of the time without me having to ask her. The same could be said for Carlos. Just to give a small example, my fake eyelash starting come off a tiny bit. Without any eyelash glue on us, I was nervous about how we would fix the issue but The Manor proved how above and beyond they'd go when Carlos, unpromoted and unknown to me at the time, went out and brought me eyelash glue! It was a small gesture but it went a long way and showed me how devoted the Manor is to their clients. Michelle made sure he knew exactly what to get and she helped me fix it when he came back (which was unbelievably quick as well) . Carlos was fantastic at keeping my group organized and making sure the ceremony was perfect. We are so grateful to both of them. Aside from their exceptional service, the staff at the manor was outstanding- every room was impeccably decorated and arranged exactly as we had hope, all of the items we had brought with us for various aspects of the night were set up perfectly without instruction and the attention to detail was second to none. The food. I am biased seeing as it was my own wedding, but the food was incredible from start to finish. The cocktail hour sampling that Michelle left from my husband and I including EVERYTHING being served downstairs and was presented beautifully- time was clearly taken to make sure we were able to try the food but also have it presented to us in a really special way. Kathy had suggested we try an "off-menu" item, braised beef in a red wine sauce, and no surprise, it was easily the best tasting wedding dinner item I've had at any wedding. There are so many things that go into making a wedding day perfect and that means there are so many things that are easy to stress over. Not once during the planning process or on the big day did I ever feel worried or concerned. Everybody communicated clearly, checked and double checked things and did everything possible to ensure everything was perfect- not just great, but genuinely perfect. Oh, and the cost was VERY reasonable. Kathy worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our budget while making sure the elements we wanted were included. We are looking forward to going back to the manor for future celebrations and feel so thankful to have been treated so well. They made our day everything we ever could have hoped for!

This was our first time at Crossed Keys Estate, and from the moment we did our research, we knew we were in for something special. The estate’s 30 acres of history, with stunning gardens, towering 200-year-old trees, and a charming farmhouse, provide the perfect mix of modern and rustic elegance. One of our favorite aspects? The venue hosts just one wedding a day, so all the attention and resources are devoted to the couple—a huge plus for creating a seamless experience. From the beginning, Erika and Jeremy were so laid-back and excited to enjoy their day. The preparation spaces were perfect—the girls had a beautiful rustic farmhouse, while the guys had a spacious house just down the gravel road, complete with a golf green for a little fun before the festivities. We love incorporating multiple, and Crossed Keys Estate offered the perfect backdrop for each one. From the emotional bridesmaids' reveal to the heartwarming first look between Erika and her dad (we could feel the intensity of the moment from the sidelines), and finally, the groom's first look on the picturesque grounds—it was magical. The estate’s swing under the giant tree and the intimate reflection pond were standout spots for capturing stunning couple photos, tucked away from the crowd. The reception space was equally amazing. The modern hall, with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowed gorgeous natural light to flood the room, making for a perfect backdrop for the celebration and the sweetheart table. Working with Katrina, the Senior Venue Coordinator, was a breeze. Every request the couple had was thoroughly listened to, and the venue made sure the day flowed effortlessly for everyone involved. Everything was timed perfectly, the florals (created by the venue!) were stunning, and the food was exquisite. Every detail was executed flawlessly, ensuring the couple and their guests could enjoy the day without a single hiccup. Now that we’ve experienced Crossed Keys Estate firsthand, we can’t wait to return! Our creativity was sparked by the newness of the venue, but we’re also excited to bring that knowledge back for future weddings. Erika and Jeremy’s wedding was a perfect day, and we look forward to more love stories at this beautiful estate.

As every bride reading this review will know, planning a wedding isn't easy. You start your planning process reading every vendor review and eventually find things you like and feel convinced these people are going to make your day easier, and perfect but that feeling doesn't always hold out throughout the entire planning process. With Normandy Farms, however, that couldn't have been further from truth. From our first visit to the day of our event, Normandy carried themselves professionally, communicated effectively, and ultimately gave us everything we asked and paid for. To this day, we still received compliments fro our guests on everything from the bartenders (s/o Julian) to the food and event staff who made the day perfect. Thef ood was excellent and the buffet stations offered really catered to our casual but elegant event. The venue worked spectacularly with all our outside vendors and not a single glitch was to be accounted for. The only feedback I provided Normandy Farms regarded a miscommunication about the fabric draping options they provided , but ultimately, for the right price, my vision was carried out to perfection. The second piece of feedback was regarding the billing technology offered. It's 2023, there should be a way to make the venue payments online, not solely via check in person. Having the hotel onsite was an immeasurable bonus and really added to the ease of the day. Our guests still rave about the breakfast buffet the day after.

Arch Street Meeting House

Philadelphia, PA
  • Up to 300 guests

  • Starts at $2,000

Arch Street Meeting House is a historic wedding venue located in Old City Philadelphia. The land on which Arch Street Meeting House stands was officially deeded to the Quakers in 1701 and used as a burial ground until 1872. The building was constructed in stages from 1803-1811 when need arose of a larger Meeting House in Philadelphia. The site is still an active place of worship in addition to being used as an educational museum space, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011. It is frequently rented for conferences, weddings, dinners, and graduations. The building sits on just shy of 2 acres, and our grounds include both grassy & brick spaces and lots of mature trees. The entire site exudes an overall historic charm.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Caters to out-of-town guests
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Both indoor and outdoor options

Venue considerations

  • Does not provide event staff
  • Limited cleanup and setup services
  • Lighting and sound are not included
Arch Street Meeting House proved to be the ideal spot for our wedding. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made sure she understood exactly what we were looking for and how her team could help bring it to fruition. They allowed us to close the grounds to the public so that our guests could mingle and sip champagne outside in the beautiful weather. All of the guests commented on how tangibly historical the venue was and how they loved the simplicity and timelessness of the ceremony space. (Which looks absolutely stunning in the few preview photos we've gotten back.) Because it was so much more affordable, we also decided to hold our rehearsal dinner there and hired a taco truck to act as the caterers. All in all, I can't recommend ASMH or Jenn and the team more highly!!
