We fell in love instantly with the breath taking views and endless photo opportunities! The barn itself was so cute and gave us the rustic barn feeling we were looking for! We absolutely love the indoor/outdoor ceremony options along with the large back yard area for games and whatever else you would want! Enjoy the scenic 6-mile drive from SW Rochester on paved roads to a magical place nestled in the rolling hillsides of southeast Minnesota. We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Now booking for year-round events! We do still have room for a 2024 wedding! Now booking 2025.

“If you are searching for a Venue that is exquisite, chic and elegant check out Garten Markeplatz Perennial Farms! We were hired by the bride and groom to provide bartending services. This venue is filled with history, floral and landscaping that is beyond beautiful during the day and the evening hours are lit up with an amber lighting that brings the whole mood together. They were so accommodating, not only to the bride and groom but to the vendors that were hired. The owners and staff were all so personable, friendly and very helpful, they definitely went above and beyond for their clients! I hope to celebrate another event there someday!”
