I have always baked. Even as a young girl, I was passionate about coming up with new yummy recipes for family and friends. Art and design have been a big part of my life as well. Inspired by my talented mother and artist uncle, I found myself surrounded by creativity. I have been known to even use the walls of my home as a canvas. When I began to blend my love for baking and my love for design I found my true love - cake design. I relish in the look on someone's face when they see one of my cakes but even better yet when they taste the delicious confection.

Spark’d Creative Pastry is brought to you by the creative minds at the HOTEL DU PONT Bake Shop in Wilmington, Delaware. Chef Leah and her talented team have over 25 years combined experience creating custom wedding and occasion cakes, pastries, plated deserts, cookies, and more. Leah’s love for pastry comes from the fleeting nature of food as art. Her belief is that food should be both beautiful and delicious. From the most elaborate of wedding and celebration cakes, to the everyday breakfast indulgence, her goal is to create a unique experience that truly ignites your sweet tooth.

We offer a unique and fun option for your special day. Entertain you and your guests with ice cream, soft pretzels w/dips, champagne, chocolate covered anything, churros and more! Our vintage bike rides into your lovely venue to WOW you for a special effect.
