In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2024 marks our sixth season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building is currently undergoing major renovation and will be completed by April of 2024. The climate controlled space will feature spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. Goodtree Farmstead is an elegant and rustic Minnesota farm event and wedding venue in Northfield, just a short drive from the Twin Cities. We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Glass House is a unique event space in the North Loop of Minneapolis located inside the facility of Hennepin Made, a local company founded in 2011 drawing on traditional glassblowing techniques to craft hand-blown accents that blur the line between everyday object and modern art. The space’s original concrete floors, cinderblock walls, and steel beam construction have been re ned and accentuated by modern elements to create a beautiful backdrop that blends past and present. Our building at 147 Holden Street was constructed in 1955 as a glass warehouse and mirror manufacturing plant for the Ford McNutt Company. Hennepin Made acquired the property in 2016 from Brinn Glass in order to expand their operations and grow their vision to connect people through craft. Thus, Parallel Cafe + Holden Room were created.
