Where to start!? Nothing but love over here. Maidenwood was everything we dreamed of and then some! We wanted an outdoor summer wedding with the comfort of modern amenities and Maidenwood is the perfect mix! When we toured the venue, I actually was so moved by the pine forest ceremony site that I cried. The blooming rose bushes and wildflowers coupled with a modern and elegant reception space truly meant we didn’t need much decor. No tablecloths or chair covers needed. Maidenwood is simply gorgeous and speaks for itself. We knew immediately that it was the right fit and booked our date that day. Over the next year, we worked with the owner Steve and his team. They checked in to see how we were doing and were just so easy to talk to, friendly, helpful, organized, professional, the list goes on. After getting married here last week, any expectations we had for the day were exceeded! Steve was a beacon of calm for us all day and Jana ran everything behind the scenes. We didn’t have to worry about a thing all day and were able to fully exist in the moment on our wedding day. It was purely magical! And we got SO many compliments on the venue. Photos do not do justice to Maidenwood, highly recommend checking it out yourself! These folks genuinely want you to have the best day of your life and you will not be disappointed. In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

We loved Hope Glen, my wife said it was way above and beyond what she had hope and dreamed for her wedding and all of our guests commented on how amazing the venue was! All the beautiful and differently decorated spaces were very functional and made our wedding flow effortlessly. We felt so blessed getting married in a super rain storm in the beautiful dinner hall. We also loved the tree house, it was such a magical place to spend our first night together. We loved the ambient worship music, we were worshipping together all night until we fell asleep. It was super special. Also Eryka was incredible. The bridal bliss package was absolutely worth every penny. I don't know how we could have got all that done on our own without her help, especially being out of state. We also highly recommend the horse carriage. The audible gasp of all our gusts was intoxicating as my beautiful bride arrived by horse carriage looking like a storybook princess.

Almquist Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, they were easy to get ahold of and very responsive to our questions and needs. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning rustic barn and gorgeous natural surroundings. Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2024 marks our sixth season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building is currently undergoing major renovation and will be completed by April of 2024. The climate controlled space will feature spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience it was to get married at Mendakota Country Club! Adena and the entire Mendakota staff made everything run seamlessly, and I received so many compliments after our wedding about how kind and helpful all of the staff members were. Adena was amazing throughout the planning process. As a bride without a wedding planner and planning from out of state, I had endless questions that Adena answered quickly and graciously. The country club was absolutely gorgeous, and it was so nice to get ready, have the ceremony, and host the reception all in one place. Many venues require additional planning from outside catering, so hiring Mendakota for all food and alcohol made the process so much less stressful. Adena helped us set up sunset photos after dinner, and those are some of my favorite photos that we took out on the golf course. I am so grateful for Mendakota's hospitality to help make our wedding day so beautiful and memorable and would recommend the venue to anyone planning a wedding!

Oak Glen has two outdoor and one indoor ceremony locations as well as one beautiful reception space. The Willows ceremony site is located just off the first hole and features willow trees framing our beautiful fountain in the pond. The Prairie ceremony site is located closer to the clubhouse, making it more convenient for your guests to get to. All ceremonies include worry-free setup and tear down with white folding chairs, a hexagon shaped arch- that you can decorate, as well as back-up indoor ceremony site (depending on guest count.)

A’bulae is wonderful! My husband and I do not live in town so we chose the Essentials Package with A’bulae so it would make the planning easier. It really did help everything go smoothly! First, the A’bulae venue is gorgeous and perfect for any weather condition (which helped me not to feel stressed!). The people working at A’bulae respond to emails promptly and professionally. They also help lay out a day-of schedule and handle a lot of the planning. They reach out and meet with the couple several times throughout the wedding planning process to put everyone at ease. Another plus is their in-house decorations, linens, chairs, and tables they set up for weddings. They have several options you can choose from. Further, while A’bulae does require you to use their in-house catering, the food is amazing. All the apps and entrees we chose were delicious. Above all, my favorite part about A’bulae is how they allow you to personalize your wedding as you see fit. My husband and I made our own monogram and cake topper, we made a slideshow to scroll during the social hour, my husband played piano, and we did an about-the-couple trivia game on the screens. It was really fun and made the event special and unique to us. A’bulae worked really hard to make this happen. We had our September wedding aboard the Magnolia Blossom. Captain Dan and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with and went above and beyond. Tamara even helped me bustle my dress when we couldn't figure out how to do it. There are lots of areas for photos, on the river, the dock, in the marina, and at the park, just a short walk from the Marina. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on how unique our wedding was, oh, and the food was amazing as well! I would 100% recommend Magnolia Blossom Cruises to any couple looking for a riverboat cruise wedding!

We had an unforgettable wedding at the University of Minnesota Campus Club in February. We had about 6 months to plan our wedding and working with the staff at the Campus Club made the planning process more fun than anything! They had great taste and suggestions for the wedding, responded quickly to questions, and were so kind. We were also allowed to have our dog at the ceremony! It made the planning process streamlined because we could have the ceremony, dinner, food, and the dance floor all in one place. The venue already had so much character that one doesn't need a lot of extra decorations (and extra work). The space is so large that it does not feel crowded to have the entire wedding at this location. What drew us to this location were the stunning views of Minneapolis, the incredible food options (the guests could not stop talking about the steak!), and the multiple options you had for room choices. We rented out the West Wing and the bar area, which proved to be a great option for guests to mingle after the ceremony and before dinner. With amazing views, delectable food, and a beautiful venue it made our wedding a perfect day!

Hyland Hills was so easy to work with. At the time before and during our wedding we were living in Texas and didnt have a ton of time to devout to wedding planning, but we still wanted it to be classy and elegant. Hyland provided us with a vendors list that made planning a breeze by giving us contact information for other approved vendors. I didn’t really know exactly what i wanted as far as layout went and i was provided with options, suggestions, and observations. The venue itself was absolutely stunning— loved the beautiful warehouse space that combined modern elegance with rustic charm. We received so many compliments from our guests about how gorgeous and unique the venue was. We had our rehearsal dinner at Sociable Cider Werks and it was the best decision we could have made! Everything about the venue was perfect. The space was the exact size and look we were hoping for. The cider was delicious as was the food from So&So's. We had so many amazing comments fro our guests about the food and cider. On top of it all Sociable has the BEST operations manager who was on top of every detail. Olivia truly made our day special. She was so organized and friendly and accommodating, our rehearsal dinner truly would not have been possible without her!

Quincy Hall was an incredible venue for our wedding! We had around 200 guests for our September wedding and it felt simultaneously spacious and cozy. The QH team was very responsive and helped with planning every step of the way. They were also super accommodating and helped fine ways for us to meet out budget while still getting the experience we were looking for. The venue and surrounding area had a number of spots for stunning, industrial vibe photos and we couldn't be happier with the look and feel for our day. Our food was also outstanding. We knew the food at Crave would be delicious, but we received so many compliments from guests about their meals. They have some of the most reasonable prices on the market and the catering staff were super professional and polished. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Quincy Hall!

Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. What a treasure! I recently delivered and set up florals I created for a wedding. I had never been to the nursery/venue before, and I must say my curiosity was peaked. Wow…this was more magical than I could have imagined! Not only is the property historical, the charms of the buildings and patios were like walking through an English garden. Upon going inside, I was again, enamored with the vibe of this venue! It had a modern rustic charm to it- bright white walls, warm wood features & an antique garden gazebo, among other unique features. It was enchanting to say the least! It is perfect for an intimate event. It has plenty of space for many guest tables, features tables (food, photo) and photo opportunities. The natural light through the windows that look out onto the patio gardens provide a perfect blend of letting the beauty of nature in. The staff was very friendly, helpful & hospitable. I met several of the staff that day and you could tell they loved what they do out at Marketplatz. I am very much looking forward to my next event there.

Glass House is a unique event space in the North Loop of Minneapolis located inside the facility of Hennepin Made, a local company founded in 2011 drawing on traditional glassblowing techniques to craft hand-blown accents that blur the line between everyday object and modern art. The space’s original concrete floors, cinderblock walls, and steel beam construction have been re ned and accentuated by modern elements to create a beautiful backdrop that blends past and present. Our building at 147 Holden Street was constructed in 1955 as a glass warehouse and mirror manufacturing plant for the Ford McNutt Company. Hennepin Made acquired the property in 2016 from Brinn Glass in order to expand their operations and grow their vision to connect people through craft. Thus, Parallel Cafe + Holden Room were created.

The team at Glass House was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was timely and they were highly accountable, ensuring a smooth planning process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an aesthetic that perfectly fit our vision. They were also flexible in the required minimum charges, layout and flow of our smaller guest count. The transition between rooms went seamlessly, and the bar service was well-organized. While the staff may have been a bit too casual, and it was unclear who our dedicated day-of contact and security were, overall Glass House provided excellent value and contributed greatly to making our special day a huge success.

We enjoyed an amazing wedding experience using the dazzling Olympic Hills golf club venue for our 120 guest wedding in July. The venue itself is exceptionally well-maintained and provided a beautiful backdrop to our happy guests. We enjoyed our wedding service on their outside private deck with customized lighting and organized, comfortable seating. We enjoyed a sumptuous and flavorful Italian buffet, and the Olympic Hills team, including event planner Emily, gave us and our guests superior service. Emily is particularly thorough, extremely well organized, communicative and proactive. Their staff were able to handle specific dietary restrictions and allowed us to bring in commercially licensed appetizers and desserts, and wine of our choice (with acork fee), all providing money saving opportunities on our very small and stringent budget. Despite the fact that we had a very tight budget which they helped us accommodate, I cannot express how thankful I am for Emily, especially being able to coordinate with our vendors to ensure we had a memorable and fabulous celebration. To have access to this kind of glamorous venue without being a club member was invaluable, and we were treated with kindness and respect. I highly recommend for any event and especially a wedding, your guest will feel privileged and happy and as a bride or groom, you will be so relieved at the ease and beauty.

My husband and I recently got married at MGC on 10/21/23 and it was THE BEST DECISION! Nancy is wonderful to work with and knows her stuff. She is efficient and was always responsive, no matter how silly my question was! We received a booklet of wedding information that had a ton of great info including hotel options, vendor options, and timeline info. The ballroom is beautiful and the space that you get for your day includes a separate area for cocktail hour and is spacious enough to give your guests space to mingle. We had a live band and I was worried about the sound being too loud for guests in the ballroom but because we had the other area, people were able to mingle and talk and not everyone was stuck in the ballroom. Their food is fantastic and reasonably priced, our guests raved about it! Planning a wedding can be very stressful but MGC and Nancy do a great job helping ease some of the anxiety from your big day. I highly, highly recommend booking Minneapolis Golf Club - it's a beautiful location and venue and I'm so happy we had our reception there!
