Ascending the grand staircase of the SAIC Ballroom, your guests are transported to another era. Like a scene out of Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, the gilded jazz age of the Roaring 20s, your special event will radiate classic elegance. Formerly the Illinois Athletic Club, this room has been restored to reflect the look and feel of its 1927 splendor. Winner of numerous awards for architectural excellence, the Ballroom boasts 26-foot ceilings, marbleized columns, and a terrazzo dance floor. Complemented by permanent bars on the main floor and balcony, a performance stage, theatrical lighting, and a customized sound system, the Ballroom is the perfect venue for any event.

Ye Olde Manor House Bed & Breakfast is an idyllic setting for intimate weddings and receptions. Our three landscaped acres are surrounded by cottage gardens. Our koi pond with its waterfall, our belvedere flanked by cottage flowers, and our spacious back yard surrounded by stately evergreens, provide beautiful backdrops for outdoor weddings. Our oversized fireplace with its wide hearth provides a perfect spot for an intimate indoor wedding. Guests can book the Manor House with or without the inclusion of overnight accommodation for up to 17 people. Guests are welcome to use their own catering services. Naper Settlement is a charming wedding ceremony and reception venue located in Naperville, Illinois. The 13-acre outdoor history museum includes a variety of beautiful ceremony and reception spaces surrounded by lush gardens and unique architecture. Just minutes from Downtown Naperville and the Naperville Riverwalk, this venue is a 40-minute drive from downtown Chicago. The Dresden Castle on Underwood will offer the perfect amenities for a cocktail reception, business meetings, or wedding reception and ceremony. As your guests enter the grand hall, they will be greeted with the beauty of traditional elegance. This private event space can host up to 350 guest. Located on one of the first avenues of Cudahy, Twelve Minutes from the Milwaukee Airport, Fifteen Minutes to Downtown Milwaukee, and 2 blocks from Lake Michigan.Dresden castle is named for the City of Dresden as the capital city in the German state of Saxony, and well as its regal.

The Ellwood House Museum is an historic estate that offers three unique rental spaces on ten acres of gardens and grounds. These include the first floor and terraces of elegant Ellcourt, an historic Tudar Revival house built in 1899. It is available from March through mid-November and is our only venue where alcohol service is permissible. Ellcourt has an hourly rate of $350. The grounds also offer a choice of three garden spaces for wedding ceremonies. Garden rentals are available mid-May to mid-October and include an inclement weather backup location in the Hearthside Room of the Visitor Center. The rental rate is a flat fee of $500. The third venue is our more casual space, the Hearthside Room, which includes access to the galleries. It is available March through mid-November, and the rental rate is $75 per hour. All venues are limited to 80 people, and both indoor venues have full kitchens.
