Sugar and Bake relocated to the DFW area in 2019 and officially opened the bakery there in 2020 after the Covid epidemic restrictions allowed. The head baker and owner learned the craft of sugar arts from professional chefs, top sugar artists, and many courses from around the world. Whether making apple strudel in Austria, paté a choux pastry in France or gravity defying cake decorating in Canada and the US, Sugar and Bake has the experience to make a memorable dessert just for you.

Basic Batter is a home bakery that focuses on crafting delicious, organic desserts for everyone. Free from artificial colors, sweeteners, and flavors, we produce naturally delicious baked goods. A variety of options are available when ordering from this bakery, including gluten-free and sugar-free treats. Those wanting only vegan confections are in luck as well. Basic Batter also offers scrumptious cookies and donuts. If you'd like to include your pup in the festivities, you can even order all-natural dog treats for them. With the cake and other desserts taken care of, you can focus on other aspects of wedding!

In 2020, Jana initiated this delectable journey, drawing inspiration from her passion for creating cakes and sweets since her teenage years in 1982. Her love for sweetening life's moments began when she crafted her first wedding cake in 2008 for a family friend. Since then, Jana has poured her heart into making everyday and special days sweeter for everyone.
