Can’t say enough good things + couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos... gallons and I mean GALLONS...of happy tears. Lydia and T shot our engagement (sneaky story you’ll have to ask them about) and the pictures turned out amazing. We had high hopes for our wedding photos and they totally blew us out of the water. The best, and most special part to me, is they captured us- every picture totally embodies me and my husband and what we wanted our wedding to be about. It never felt posed or forced. I think it’s really rare to completely capture who people are through photos-but they got us. It probably doesn’t make sense until you work with them, but when you do ...you’ll understand. I could go on and on about how wonderful these two are and how grateful and thankful I am to have had them at our wedding shooting our most special day! Thank you Lydia and T! People reading the reviews would be so remiss to pass up working with these two for any occasion - they truly are incredible! -Maddie + Ryan

The Outlovers made our Colorado/Utah elopement everything that we hoped it would be! They helped us plan an amazing, once-in a life time trip with a beautiful ceremony we will never forget! Chad and Vanessa are down to Earth, kind, and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos match exactly how we felt about our day: pure bliss! Preparing for our trip, the Outlovers checked in with us at every step of the way from the moment we reached out to them to the morning of our elopement. They guided us on exactly what to pack and made sure we were prepared for any weather, which came in handy when we unexpectedly encountered chilly winds and light rain. They even brought along items that we would never think of or couldn’t logistically bring in a suitcase. They helped to configure the backpack to carry the suit the morning of the elopement and pulled out an umbrella for us to use, in addition to our rain jackets. They even went out of their way to help with an elaborate surprise and preserve our picnic during travel. Chad and Vanessa are more than just photographers. They helped us plan our trip and provided advice on where to visit and what to do, even when we weren’t with them. They were our expert hiking guides, leading us on our drive up the mountain and through the dark with our headlamps on to our sunrise ceremony spot. Even as we raced to catch sunrise, they helped keep the mood light and made sure we never lost sight of the reason for the day. They have such an obvious passion for the outdoors and that helped us appreciate the experience that much more. We couldn’t have chosen a better pair than Chad and Vanessa to accompany us on our special day!

I have always loved the outdoors. You can find me hiking mountain passes, rock climbing, planning another trip to Mexico, nose buried in some travel guides, looking up cheap flights to Australia, or off on some crazy 3 week long road trip to the Canadian Rockies with my cousins. I will help guide you through the entire process of planning an amazing experience. You can trust me with your wedding day dreams & will give you my all in planning out every little detail for your elopement.

Malachi made our elopement absolutely awesome! He was recommended to us by a photographer friend, and when we met with him online and found out he was a bird person just like us, we knew he was perfect to photograph us. His work obviously speaks for itself; look through any of his photos online and you'll see he is a master of his craft. The other aspects of an adventure wedding with Malachi are that he makes you feel comfortable, can find beautiful locations to take you, and has every piece of gear you may need available in his truck and all you need to do is get married! We met Malachi 2 weeks before our spontaneous elopement. We wanted to catch the aspens while they were still yellow so we had to move quickly and he was up for the challenge! He scouted out various locations that we might be interested in (aspens, lakes, mountain overlooks, etc.) and we narrowed down the sites we would visit 1 week before. With that said, definitely go with the full-day elopement option! It reduces stress because you don't need to stay on a tight schedule and allows you to visit a few locations for photos. We didn't really have any specific requests for our elopement besides seeing the aspens and gorgeous nature so Malachi just offered up some great ideas and we went with those. He made the whole process super simple and stress-free for 2 very indecisive people. The day of our elopement we had some rainy weather that would make hiking less than ideal because clouds would block some mountain views. He showed up at our lodge and offered to rearrange our order of locations so that we could still catch some clear skies. It was nice to not worry about sticking to a schedule and just do what worked for us. Malachi brought one of his super fun birds on the trip too!!! The trail we hiked up to our ceremony was perfect. It was a beautiful forest with aspen glens that we got changed in, and only saw 2 people right when we parked. The rest of the day, we had the trail all to ourselves. Malachi took photos throughout the hike, and during and after our little ceremony. He did a wonderful job of directing 2 awkward and dorky people so that we looked natural and happy and less-than-awkward in all our photos. The photos turned out beautifully! Everything about the day was perfect. It was stress-free, fun, and the pictures captured our love for each other. Malachi was an amazing photographer/elopement planner for 2 easy-going people so we definitely recommend him for your adventure!

My journey as a photographer started with taking photos of friends, old and new, at festivals. I fell in love with documenting the joyful energy at these events. Weddings and elopements remind me so much of those experiences- friends dancing together under the stars, laughter, speaking openly about love for one another, and truly enjoying life’s most meaningful moments. These days I draw a lot of my inspiration from the incredible mountain ranges all around me, but my biggest source of inspiration is my amazing clients and their connection with each other. That’s my story. Now I want to hear yours!

Lizzie is hands down one of the most talented photographers I have ever had the privilege of working with! She has such a magical eye for catching the most beautiful light and I swear as I look through our photos from that special day it looks straight our of a fairy tale. We traveled over 6 hours specifically so she could capture our day and I couldn't have been more thrilled and in utter awe of the final outcome. She was extremely professional and patient with us and she made sure to capture every tine detail so it will be in our hearts for ever. I highly recommend Lizzie Tiles Photography to anyone in the Colorado or surrounding area!

We are Joe & Rhonda Hendricks, the owners of Elope Telluride. We do it all here, from the photography to planning to location scouting. We’ve been married 13 years, and have a son named Austin! For 10 years, we worked hard to establish a wedding successful wedding photography business in Nashville, TN before moving to Colorado. It was here that we decided to shift our business from the stressful wedding industry, to adventure elopements! Joe combined his award-winning wedding photography, with his talent for landscapes… and mountain elopement photography fit like a glove.

I am a wedding officiant and have had the pleasure of working with Rhonda and Joe from Elope Telluride on many weddings for over two years. They are hands down my favorite wedding planners/elopement specialists to work with. I always look forward to their bookings because they are such a joy to work with and for. Joe and Rhonda are both highly organized, creative and kind. Joe's photography speaks for itself, true art. He captures not only the big moments but the subtle moments, the grin of a child, the pride in a father's eyes, the glow of the bride and the awe seen in the face of the groom. They put couples and guests at ease and the ceremonies are peaceful, beautiful and exquisite. They clearly love what they do.

Something Borrowed Blooms

  • Florist
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Grand Junction, CO

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. Getting the boxes to the venue did require a bit of coordination, but with a little help from friends we were able to easily box them up the day after the wedding and ship them off via FedEx. We saved easily 2,000 thanks to Something Borrowed and you would never know the flowers were fake.

He even helped us with our timeline and outline for photos. We had a big venue and were worried about sticking to our timeline and getting the photos we wanted. He took the photos so quickly and got so many photos of us! Many of his ideas took us out of our comfort zone, but ended up being some incredible shots, and he made it extremely fun to do them. One of the best parts of our wedding was getting to have a little bit of Tomi’s time!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Grand Junction, CO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were on a strict budget for our wedding. I knew that florals would be the best way to save on some of the huge wedding costs. I found out about Flower Moxie from googling where I would get wholesale flowers. I was immediately hooked once I saw the flower options, tutorials, and worksheets to help plan out my special day. I am very big on organization, and this website had resources for every step of the way. I found the perfect combination of flowers for my boho wedding. I ordered the flowers about 2 months before our big day. It was a destination wedding, so I was checking into our airbnb on the day the flowers were arriving. I had them scheduled to be delivered at the Fedex holding center near by. I thought the company only used Fedex shipping based on my research. I went into full panic mode when I saw the flowers had been shipped by UPS. I immediately called UPS and Fedex, and to be honest I was stunned at the behavior on the other side of the phone. The flowers were still in transit, and no one would help me with rerouting. I called Flower Moxie to see if they could change things on their side as they were the sender. Luis answered the phone and it felt like I finally had someone looking out for me. I had already spent 4 hours on the phone with the shipping companies and gotten nowhere. Luis said he was on it and not to worry. I ordered enough flowers for 18 centerpieces, 70 bud vases, 8 bouquets, and 1 flower arch. Needless to say, it was quite the ordeal to reroute everything. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. I would absolutely recommend this company for DIY brides. And I hope this review is seen by Flower Moxie to highlight an outstanding employee with excellent customer service. In an age when it takes time and multiple attempts in order to talk to a person on the phone, I am so appreciative of the effort that was given by Luis for my wedding day. He made me feel like it was an important event for him too. Thank you Luis for making my wedding dreams come true! My sister also mentioned you in her MOH wedding speech. We were all impressed :)

Jaylyn from Weddings by Jay was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very prompt to respond to any questions or concerns we had throughout the wedding planning process. Her communication style was excellent, and she was always available to provide guidance and support. Jaylyn's work was outstanding and she went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. We had a lot of moving parts to our wedding, including a horse-drawn carriage that was two hours late, but Jaylyn kept everything going and was on top of it all. She was even able to keep a surprise for everyone hidden amongst the chaos. Additionally, we had a ton of heavy decor that Jaylyn was super accommodating with and very much on top of. Thanks to Jaylyn's organization and attentiveness, we received many compliments on how smoothly our wedding went, which wouldn't have happened without her.

Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving and laughing. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone. Like, please don’t take a photo of me from below! Hello double chin! What I’m saying is, I got you!

Lacie captured moments that took my breath away. Her style and skill is every bride’s dream. She delivers everything you adore from those Pinterest and Instagram wedding photos. So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?

I've been shooting weddings for almost 10 years. I often work with adventurous couples who look beyond what most of the wedding industry is selling and wanna start their own traditions. I've worked in huge east-coast ballrooms, on Mexican beaches, and at the edges of Moab cliffs. And I'll happily travel to wherever you're doing your own damn thing on your wedding day. I focus on capturing your favorite people in the world and giving you images that pull you right back into the feeling of the day. My style is natural, candid, and joyful, with some sassy editorial portraits and a whole lotta crazy dance floor shots.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Working with Cory Antiel was truly a pleasure. For our wedding preparation, he was so organized and was a photographer/videographer who asked the right questions. Cory is a story teller. He will capture the moments that you didn’t realize mattered- from the joy on your guests faces when you enter the room to a cute baby curiously walking to something that caught their attention. He sees what you don’t! His stories are beautifully told through pictures and clips. He tries to get to know you and even selects the right songs to use in your videos. We hired Cory to work on just our video, and even yet, he was able to capture a great shot during my father daughter dance that our photographer did not capture. He brings with him an energy of calmness during such an overwhelming day. You will not regret having him around on your special day. From THE BRIDE!

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets were great at communicating throughout the entire process! They provided amazing, lifelike floral arrangements that were beautiful in our wedding photos. This was such an easy and convenient service - we simply received the pre-made package, used them for our special day, then packaged them back up to send off. We were thrilled with the quality and value of their work, which truly contributed to making our wedding day perfect.

Forest Picture Co. is, without a doubt, the best choice you could make for a wedding photographer. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable being in pictures but from our very first meeting Amanda made us feel at ease with the whole process and like we were naturals in front of a camera. Her knowledge about weddings helped us feel better about planning the whole thing and she helped make sure everything went by without any problems the day of by helping us get around, coordinating with family and venue staff, and going with the flow when things didn't happen exactly as planned. She’s so fun to work with, an amazing support, and her work is absolutely incredible. Every photo she took turned out amazing, but our favorites were the candid shots. They perfectly capture what an amazing day we had and the love and joy from everyone at our wedding. And we got our full album in record time so we and all of our guests could enjoy them. We can't wait to have an album printed to keep on our coffee table for everyone to admire! If we had to do it all over again Forest Picture Co. is exactly who we would pick to create memories of our day!

I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Grace went above and beyond when working on our elopement. Her rates were very affordable, and she even looked around our venue location to make sure we got photos we missed when looking ourselves.
