“From the moment we met Jana, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. Jana immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that she had our most important day well under control.
She had us laughing and relaxed in our first meeting as she beamed through the zoom screen, exuding a true interest in our love story; and she was soo attentive to details - she brought up many important specifics that we wouldn't have thought of on our own.
Our first opportunity to work with Jana was our engagement photos, that's when we, again, truly knew we made the right choice. Jana is very easy to work with, even though she's really specific in how she wants you to pose -- and the results were fantastic.
When we got the engagement photos back, we saw how unique Jana's photography is. We looked great(!), but also...all the colors around us popped, she caught natural light in a really beautiful way, and the "stories" she told through our poses were all so special compared to the other photographers we looked into.
Our wedding day threw every challenge possible at Jana... inclement weather, pushy-other-brides-photographers doing their shoots in the same space, and even a traffic-blocking protest when we were traveling to the venue... and Jana remained resilient, calm, and on-task.
We booked a 2nd photographer, Gail, through Jana, who was also fantastic, our only regret from our special day was not booking Gail for longer, as both of them were able to capture every special moment of the ceremony/reception/formals. To ensure you get the whole days' events and both get-ready rooms, we highly recommend future couples to book both for the majority of the day.
