You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

I used to produce and plan tens of weddings in downtown West Palm at a 4-5 star venue. During covid-19 I developed my videography skills alongside fitness influencers and branding and brought my new skillset into the wedding industry and have shot my handful of weddings. A little about me: I am a Tampa Bay grown, soflo living videographer, a master's student in mental health, hold a BA in media from PBAU, and surf in my free time. I love God, people, family and friends above all.

My hubby Guy and I were both born and raised in Southern Ca. but met in Utah at a Sundance work Christmas party and even though it wasn't love at first sight, it was pretty darn close🖤 We have 3 beautiful kids and a handsome son in-law! Something unexpected about me (for most people:) is that I'm a new "chicken mom" my kids think I've lost it, but really they have just been replaced is all haha-I'm kind of obsessed with them! Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!
