In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

The Monticello Community Center has a room or space for any need! Whether you're looking for a small, informal ceremony in one of our beautiful parks along the Mississippi River or a large gathering in the elegant Mississippi Room, we can make your vision a reality. Our Mississippi Room offers a seated room capacity for up to 300 guests. We take care of all your decorating needs using your decor, including audio-visual equipment, plus you’ll have exclusive use of the adjacent outdoor patio. Our premier parks are popular venues for wedding ceremonies due to the natural beauty of the Mississippi River. We also have a smaller, more intimate venue along Otter Creek with beautiful gardens and natural surroundings. The park venues are available May through October and beautiful blooming plants and flowers vary with each visit. We have a variety of rental room sizes available! In addition to your wedding, you can host smaller gatherings like your bridal shower at the MCC as well!

We’re a family of winemakers descending from the heart of Europe, making wine in the heart of Minnesota. Here in Millner Heritage Winery & Cidery, we have two main event areas, our pavilion which can easily seat 250 people, or our seasonal indoor dining area which can seat 100 people. Willow Tree winery is a small boutique style winery located just north of the Twin Cities in Ham Lake, Minnesota. Established in 2003 by Jim and Barb Szurek, what started out as a retirement hobby soon became a family business.
