I have been doing cakes & desserts for over 30 years. I have work different types of venues & positions throughout my career but always love creating in the kitchen the most! I have been told that I help "bring their visions" to life & I'm always up for a challenge. I continued practicing this multidisciplinary craft in 3 countries before I settled in Chicago, IL, where I live now. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.
