However, one cannot help but notice the space’s rich history. With an industrial feel, century-old exposed beams overhead, weathered wood, and distressed brick, it’s the definition of rustic elegance and can be tailor-made to fit any style. Uptown Indigo is a family owned and operated venue with two floors and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. The design is "chic industrial" with lots of artistic details. From the original tin ceilings to the handmade tiles, Uptown Indigo is a truly unique wedding venue. The venue can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, with the largest space being the 6,000 square foot Indigo Ballroom. This ballroom is characterized by its modern light fixtures combined with original historic elements. It is fully accessible with a vintage elevator and large, elegant bathrooms. The Steeples Event Space is on the top floor, complete with a prohibition-era, rustic space for cocktail hours or smaller ceremonies. The detailed tile ceilings along with the warm lighting give the space a romantic, yet fun feel. The Two Sisters Event Venue located in Downtown Franklin, Virginia is a 5000 sq. foot building that is a fresh and bright space decorated in hues of a neutral grey and blue. It has a very large banquet room with 20 60" round tables and 150 banquet chairs. In addition there is a buffet room with 6 rectangle tables, another separate room that can be used for a bridal room, photobooth, etc. We also include a Warming kitchen for your caterers to prepare your meals and bathrooms. We rent for all events, parties and business functions. We give you plenty of time to setup your events and offer tours for you to view the space in person.
