If you are looking for the perfect wedding day 3rd wheel bestie - you have found your girl. PNW Based Photographer located on Camano Island, WA. I am a Military wife and mother of two wild kiddos. I cannot recommend MyStache Photography enough! From start to finish, Lauren was everything you’d hope for in a wedding photographer—friendly, communicative, professional, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to truly listen to what I wanted while also offering thoughtful suggestions that made the whole experience even better. On our wedding day, things were busy, and we were feeling both hangry and tired. I wanted to stop taking photos entirely, but Lauren kindly suggested I take a quick snack break, which was exactly what I needed. After that, we were back on track and managed to capture all the shots I had hoped for! I loved how she guided us through every photoshoot moment, making it flow well and stress-free. My husband and I aren’t really “photo people,” and normally if we could take fewer pictures, we absolutely would—but Lauren was our biggest cheerleader, keeping us comfortable and making the process enjoyable. She worked quickly and efficiently, all while ensuring the photos were of the highest quality. The end result? Absolutely stunning photos! Lauren captured every special moment beautifully, and I’m so grateful to have these memories preserved forever. If you’re looking for a talented, thoughtful, and fun photographer, look no further than MyStache Photography!

I've been the DJ at several hundred weddings over the last 25 years all around this lovely state. Fireseed is at the top of the list of my favorite venues. It's been especially great to see the evolution of the space over the years. They started off with a beautiful garden, an incredible chef, and a super nice indoor space for dinner and dancing. Good enough wasn't enough as now it has new amazing outdoor areas and great wedding party amenities. They also have event managers built in, so as a DJ I can focus on the music and emceeing. I don't mind the extra ferry ride for a night that I know is going to be well run and really fun. Oh. Almost forgot. The food is up there with anyone in the Northwest. Really, really good. Every time!

Asher&Olive

5.0

  • Caterer
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Freeland, WA

Asher & Olive, The Catering Company On Fabulous Orcas Island. Specializing in Pacific Northwest Fusion Cuisine, with an emphasis on providing local, sustainable foods presented in a stylish manner. We partner with Buck Bay Shellfish Farms to bring our fresh seafood straight to your table and your vegetables and field greens are plucked from the gardens on the day of your event.

If I could give Asher&Olive 10 stars, I would! We got married back in September 2023, and my husband and I were originally planning to get married on Orcas Island. We met with Gavin, whom we immediately vibed with, and then after much debate and a few other factors, we ended up moving our venue off-island. My parents told us there were so many other local vendors that we should consider going with because to them it seemed extreme to have an Orcas Island vendor travel all the way to us, but we were adamant that if they were willing to travel to our new venue, we wanted to keep them. Luckily they were! We ended up getting married in Poulsbo and were still able to keep our "forest formal" theme, even though we were no longer getting married in the woods. Gavin was great with all the details, and was in contact consistently about color schemes, décor plans, while keeping things simplistically chic, and of course food ideas (though we trusted the menu completely after tasting the first appetizer we tried - the roasted hibiscus flower with goat cheese! *chef's kiss*). The menu was full of locally sourced goods - from the salmon to the homemade bread, to the delicious salad and Beecher's mac and cheese. Truly, it was so nice to not have to pour so much thought and energy into the menu because we trusted that Gavin's team would pull it off, and they did it flawlessly. Because we changed the venue, I ended up doing most of the décor myself, but I was a DIY bride, but Asher&Olive brought our forest formal theme to life with their catering and details on the buffet table. Their staff were extremely friendly, the food was phenomenal, and guests were raving about it - we didn't even have any food leftover because people liked it so much they went back for seconds! My parents said towards the end of the evening that we were right to have fought to keep them as our caterers, because everything was delicious and perfect. We heard that praise again when we visited them over the holidays. I 1000% recommend working with Gavin and his crew!

We are obsessed with every photo we got back, felt extremely comfortable in front of the camera with them, and loved the unique settings and poses we got to do. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

  • Serves Freeland, WA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers provided an outstanding, ongoing, easy, and reliable experience for our wedding. Their communication was transparent, and they clearly cared about ensuring the success of our DIY floral arrangements. The flowers arrived on time, and the step-by-step email directions and tutorials made the preparation process a breeze. I had no casualties, and the flowers turned out beautifully - I was preparing for a 5% loss but everything worked perfectly! Hello there! ! I’m Jen Lee, a wedding photographer in Seattle for over 8 years, I consider it an honor and privilege to be entrusted with documenting the most significant chapters in a couple's life. In my early years as a Creative Portrait Director shooting professional models and full editorials, I immersed myself in the world of visual storytelling. Creating these captivating narratives allowed me to move into the real world of weddings. With an innate sense of empathy and a meticulous attention to detail, I strive to create an atmosphere of ease and comfort with my professional knowledge in lighting, posing, and story telling.

From the moment we booked JL Thomas Photography, Jennifer was a dream to work with. Her communication was crystal clear, informative, fun, and friendly throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding, Jennifer not only prioritized our list of photos, but helped enforce our timeline and herd our guests when they didn't want to be where we needed them. She was a true stress reducer on my wedding day. The quality of her work is exceptional, exceeding our expectations in every way. In all honesty, I always get nervous when other people take pictures of me, thanks to different camera angles and a fluctuating body weight. I was terrified that I would see myself in photos of the most beautiful day of my life, and see myself as less than… but let me tell you, I have never felt more confident in sharing pictures than the ones we received. Jennifer’s tips on posing, feedback in the moment, and constant reassurance built my confidence, and it showed. The sneak peeks we received were absolutely beautiful, and we can’t wait to see the rest. The value of Jennifer's services is incredible - honestly, I think she should charge more, even though I’m glad her packages were within our budget. She felt like a true friend to us, and I cannot recommend her enough. I brag about how amazing she is every time I talk about our wedding - which is a lot. We are so glad we chose her, not only to capture our special day, but to be part of it as well.

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

I am so grateful we came across LoveKnot and will always highly recommend them for anyone's special occasion.

In fact, I haven't even gotten the final album for our wedding yet (just previews) and i'm STILL impressed! If you have the opportunity to work with this team, take it. I couldn't recommend them enough.

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + intimate weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people in love have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Your earth loving, sun chasing Oregon elopement photographer. My work is ever evolving but my intention is always the same: to capture the essence of who you are and create timeless photographs that will always take you back to your incredible day.

We asked a lot of Mia - a sunrise shoot in the mountains. She was super accommodating and didn't complain one bit when we bushwhacked our way up a shrub-filled mountain. She was great at helping us pose while staying natural, and we think the photos speak for themselves in terms of quality. We would highly recommend working with Imagine Elopements for any kind of photo event, but especially for adventurous couples looking for someone not afraid of getting a little messy!

I'm a CA based and travel wedding photographer. I've photographed almost 200 weddings, and every single one goes by so quickly. I love my job because even though the day goes by fast, I get to find and capture those small moments, sometimes just a fraction of a second long, so they can be relived over and over in photographs. I have a photojournalistic and editorial style, plus 9 years of wedding experience under my belt, so trust me that I've got it while you are able to fully enjoy your day and be present.

Awarded Best of Zola
This has taken me a little while to get to writing as after wedding day life has been a little chaotic but wanted to express praise where it was well deserved. Holly exceeded my husband and I's expectations as our photographer on our wedding day. Not only was she extremely professional, but she was kind, personable and very helpful. The photos ended up coming out GORGEOUS! We just could not be happier with her and are definitely going to be recommending her to anyone seeking a photographer.

I’m Luke, a Seattle wedding photographer with a simple mantra: Guest First. Photographer Second. On your wedding day, I’m part of the celebration, prioritizing your experience and capturing the moments that truly matter. We’ll make time for great portraits, but my main goal is to document your day as it unfolds—no endless posing or pulling you away from the fun. From the laughs and tears to the joy, heart, and love, I’ll capture it all to make your day unforgettable.

We are forever grateful for Bear Beau Photography capturing not only our wedding day but our welcome party and engagement photos. Luke was so warm and welcoming and was definitely a favorite among our guests as well. He was never intrusive but always there to capture the moments. We booked him for our welcome party as well and we are so happy he was able to make it work. It's another part of the weekend we will get to cherish with professional photos now. One other thing we loved about Luke was his communication. He was always prompt and organized, whether talking with us or our wedding planner -- not something to overlook when you are dealing with so many vendors!

Marcea's experience comes to you decades in the making. Having grown up with a wedding coordinator mom, Marcea started coordinating weddings and receptions at a very young age. She went on to plan events with a prominent Seattle restaurant company, and has planned dinners and parties large and small for churches, non-profit organizations, schools, and small businesses, ranging in size from a small gathering to a crowd of 1,000. Her own Christmas parties are legendary, something she also learned from her mom. She brings the same passion to every event, every time.

- Over 12 years of successful work, more than 400 couples, more than 200 families and more than 100 companies have used our services - We do all shooting and editing personally and never hire third-party vendors. You will get exactly what you ordered - It is very important for us that the video convey the atmosphere of your event as much as possible, therefore we approach the details and musical arrangement with great care - Each project for us is always an individual work. We do not shoot or edit according to a template. - We always have a spare set of equipment - All material we always keep in duplicate.

Thanks so much for our incredible weeding video! Yesterday we had a chance to watch it and I can say it was such heartwarming and professional video that reminded us how special that day was:) Thank you, Alex, again for your hard work and professionalism!
