A native Philadelphian, Trumbauer is also associated with grandiose buildings in New York and Newport, the main library at Harvard University and much of the campus of Duke University. Today, Trumbauer is hailed as one of America's premier architects. In 1906, he embarked on Trumbauer Hall, a formal Colonial Revival building of brick, concrete, limestone and marble construction. What began as one of the most prestigious private city clubs in North America is now also Center City’s best address for high-end entertaining. Since 1999, Jeffrey Miller has been the exclusive caterer for weddings, corporate dinners, fundraisers and other special events at Trumbauer Hall.

Bell Gate Farm is the perfect backdrop for any kind of event. I have one rule, however, there will never be more than one event per day. I firmly believe that you cannot concentrate and give supreme customer service when there are multiple activities going on the same day. When you rent Bell Gate, you are getting every nook and cranny, and that allows us to play a little bit. We can have a cocktail hour at the pool, but move dinner to the barn, and it feels like you’ve changed venue’s completely. Built By Dimmick Drake in 1906, Castle Inn was the last of the great hotels to be built in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. Tourists flocked to the Gap to escape the summer heat and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware River. Designed by German architect Robert Brueckner, Castle Inn was constructed of poured concrete and timber beams, a European construction technique unusual in the United States at the time.
