The Palmer Inn Estate features a stunning six bedroom main house, and two bedroom guest house on eight acres. We are located about a half hour from both the Outer Banks and the Virginia line. The estate is the perfect setting to host your rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, and day-after brunch all in one stunning location. The breathtaking waterfront views create a magical backdrop for your ceremony, and the cozy guest house provides an ideal space for you and your wedding party to get ready on-site. The Farm at 95 offically opened it's doors in October of 2013 and to this day is one of the two largest venues in Johnston County (oh, our sister location is the other larges venue)! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 42, which we opened in March of 2018. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has simple improvements such as larger dressing suites, upgraded finishes and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

The Farm at 42 offically opened it's doors in March of 2018! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio with heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. In addition, we have a smaller space (The Maple Room) that is perfect for those more intimate weddings of 60 guests or less, with "micro wedding" pricing. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 95, which we opened as our original location in 2013. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has a few different finishes, skylight and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

Located in the historic cobble-stone lined streets of City Market, the building was originally constructed in 1911 as the City of Raleigh's livery stables. In the 1950s it became the Ford Sander's Auto Dealership. Artspace renovated the building in 1986 to be an innovative hub for creative expression in the heart of our state's capital. Today, Artspace welcomes 30,000 visitors annually through First Friday art walks, Family Days, Summer Art Camps and more. In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.
