“My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted an intimate wedding surrounded by close family and friends, and to have it somewhere intimate and in nature. As a professional wedding photographer myself, Idlewild Ridge Ranch provided everything we wanted and more! The potential for photos on their ranch is never-ending. We got married on a peak fall weekend and their huge grove of aspen trees were lit up in gold and absolutely stunning! Our guests absolutely loved how convenient and easy it was to get to the venue, but how secluded it felt at the same time. It was close enough to Colorado Springs that everyone could drive up for the day and go home the same day. But, don't worry! If you book a wedding here, you can have the venue for the weekend and the ranch has glamping and a lodge cabin for some of your family members or out-of-town guests to stay at. It was truly the best weekend and wedding day ever! There's a tree swing, lots of outdoor games, fire pits, and so much more! If you're looking for an intimate setting and to have a ranch all to yourself for a full wedding weekend, look no further! The feel of seclusion, but the convenience of being within driving distance of Woodland Park and Colorado Springs at the same time. I could talk about the staff for days! The Ranch is family owned, and they are a breath of fresh air to work with! Definitely reach out to them, and definitely set up a tour with them if you're wanting a secluded, intimate wedding.”

The Tex Ranch is a BRAND NEW VENUE! It has a beautiful barn that was built in 2000 originally as a working barn. It has been transformed into a rustic yet elegant venue to host your ceremony or reception. There is plenty of room for food, drink and dancing. Our outdoor grassy field area will accommodate large or small weddings up to 200. With all the beautiful surrounding views, it truly makes for a lovely and special outdoor event.
