Our 7,200-square-foot Waterford Ballroom, adorned with nine striking Waterford chandeliers, is an ideal space for an unforgettable wedding reception. In 1976, Hugh and Jody Deery had established themselves as greats in Midwest short track race promoting. With their large plot of land in Loves Park, just miles north of Rockford already housing Rockford Speedway, they asked themselves what's missing? The answer was affordable quality banquet space! Thus the idea for the Forest Hills Banquet was born. Construction began in 1977 and was completed in 1978. The annual Rockford Speedway Banquet was one of the first events held in the newly constructed "Lodge" and we are proud to have played a part in many wonderful celebrations in the years which have followed.

The Cording Event Barn is newly renovated as of Spring 2022 with stunning views of the grounds, a large outdoor deck, loft space, and a large main floor. Full catering is available. The Goldmoor Inn is a romantic wedding venue in Illinois offering indoor and outdoor facilities, gourmet food, and a storybook setting on a bluff high above the Mississippi River. the Goldmoor offers a unique selection of beautifully decorated cabins, cottages, and suites, all minutes from downtown Galena. The Ellwood House Museum is an historic estate that offers three unique rental spaces on ten acres of gardens and grounds. These include the first floor and terraces of elegant Ellcourt, an historic Tudar Revival house built in 1899. It is available from March through mid-November and is our only venue where alcohol service is permissible. Ellcourt has an hourly rate of $350. The grounds also offer a choice of three garden spaces for wedding ceremonies. Garden rentals are available mid-May to mid-October and include an inclement weather backup location in the Hearthside Room of the Visitor Center. The rental rate is a flat fee of $500. The third venue is our more casual space, the Hearthside Room, which includes access to the galleries. It is available March through mid-November, and the rental rate is $75 per hour. All venues are limited to 80 people, and both indoor venues have full kitchens.

Off Shore Event Center has recently undergone an extensive renovation to bring you one of the most beautiful venues in the area for your special day. Not only do we offer this state-of-the-art facility, we also have a hotel onsite. This will allow your out-of-town guests to arrive in advance and settle in before your event. Guests who arrive early or want to stay an extra day will also be thrilled with the excellent food and service featured at our on-premise restaurant, Off Shore Bar and Grill. During the summer months, we also offer a state-of-the-art outdoor aquatics area which is included with each hotel stay. The Off Shore property features all the accommodations you and your guests will require for a perfect wedding day or an extended weekend experience. You will find a complete package of guest accommodations typically found only in large city convention centers – but tucked away in a relaxing, picturesque, small river town setting.

Owned by the City of Galena, Turner Hall is air-conditioned, affordable and available for rental by individuals and organizations for events such as weddings, parties, meetings, concerts, dances, classes, lectures, fundraisers and plays.
