We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! The intimate Algur H. Meadows Founder’s Room is an available space that is conducive to small board meetings, private dinners, and receptions. For panel discussions, film screenings, and lectures, there is the Bob and Jean Smith Auditorium, which is equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
