I began my career a decade ago. As a tour photographer, I began accompanying musicians all over the world. Little did I know at that point the low lights, high energy, and late nights would translate well into my career as a wedding photographer. My start as a music photographer gave me the confidence to navigate even the most challenging and unpredictable situations, and I use the same philosophy now while photographing weddings: keep calm, stay observant, and follow the action.

“We are so thrilled that we managed to book Jess for our engagement photos and wedding! Beautiful photography was a priority for us, and we wanted our photos to have a genuine, documentary style feel. We wanted the photos to capture the real beauty of the day, without being too heavily edited (we hate the photographers who made everything look pastel!). Jessica was completely in line with our style. My husband and I aren’t naturals in front of the camera, but Jessica made us feel so at ease. We were never uncomfortable with Jessica, and she felt like a natural part of the day. Jessica’s photos speak for themselves. She is able to create stunning visuals, but most impressively, Jess captures emotion in all of her photographs. At our wedding, Jessica and her assistant Kat were always present, but never intrusive. I feel like she is a photography ninja—I don’t even remember seeing her at certain moments, and yet there are beautiful photos of everything. No detail or moment was missed. From the day we worked with Jess on our engagement photos, we knew we were in more than capable hands. I am so impressed with Jessica’s ability to find unique spaces and framing for our photos—some of my favorite photos are in front of everyday places, but with Jessica’s eye they are turned into beautiful works of art. Because she did such a fantastic job with our engagement photos, we had no worries at all on our wedding day. One of Jess’ strengths is her background working as a photographer on music tours. Put her in any type of lighting or setting, and she has the technical skills and experience to create something amazing. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Jess’ professionalism—she is always early and is kind to everyone she interacts with. She is so passionate and excited about her work. Her calm, unflappable attitude made her a pleasure to be around on our wedding day. Her enthusiasm for her work is evident. She's also incredibly hardworking at every stage of the process. Jessica was able to edit our photos and got them back to us within 6 days of our wedding—that is unheard of! We love Jess and are so impressed by her! She is beyond talented and her stunning work will let us relive our wedding day whenever we want. All of our photos were fantastic—it’s hard to narrow down even our top 100 photos. “Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!”

“We hired Swept for our October 2022 wedding. They were very professional and made the process very easy to schedule their services. Jaime, the owner, was perfect to work with. I had 5 bridesmaids, and 3 parents/grandparents needed hair and makeup services. When one of our bridesmaids passed away, Jaime was perfect and patient with us for changing the amount of people needing services. Then closer to the wedding date, before final payment, I had some bridal party want to add services on, and some didn’t need services anymore. Jaime was so amazing and adapted our contract to any changes that needed to happen. She was such an angel in the stress of wedding planning. When we scheduled my trial, I still wasn’t 100% sure what my wedding look was going to be. Sarah did my makeup, and I told her I wanted a more natural look. She came up with the most perfect natural glam look that I loved! Ciarrah did my hair. I showed her multiple inspiration pictures that were similar hairstyles, and explained I honestly wasn’t sure which one I should do for my fine hair type. She was so kind, and willing to try different options to find the perfect one. Her first hairstyle pic was the winner but it still didn’t feel perfect. She suggested letting some hair hang out of the bun, and it was so beautiful! Wedding day, we had all the bridesmaids stay the night in an air bnb to make everything easier in the morning. Sarah and Ciarrah were so efficient and had everybody done before the latest time they could be done. Everyone looked gorgeous! We had music playing that made it such a fun atmosphere on my wedding day! I felt like a princess! They both made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Perfect company to hire! Jaime is also able to switch hair stylists or makeup artists if it’s not a match at your trial. You also can request specific artists if you like their specific work on Swept’s website or Instagram.”

“My wife and I were searching for a photographer who could capture our wedding as it really was, from the intimate moments to the wild dance floor, and Natasha's documentary-style fit our needs exactly! She listened carefully to what we wanted - minimal posed pictures, non-traditional "first look", lots of candids, etc - and she more than delivered. We had 130 guest count and Natasha covered basically every inch of our wedding day, no need or want for a second shooter. She was everywhere and so stealthy that we didn't realize she was so close to us the whole night until we got our pictures back. Our ceremony was outside and dinner/dancing were inside, and regardless of the lighting, the pictures turned out perfectly, she was even able to capture non-blurry pictures of guests jamming on a packed dance floor! She was a pleasure to work with, the instructions of her process were easy to follow from start to finish, and had a lot of examples to look through which gave us a good idea of what we were getting. We especially appreciated that she sent us a few pictures the morning after our wedding as a sneak peek, very nice touch.
