“We just finished up our wedding at Misty River Ranch and had such a magical time. Even though we ended up having a major downpour everything still felt so special being out there. The owners are so kind and everyone you pass on the property also makes you feel so welcome. Hearing the horses whinny during our ceremony was the icing on the cake, really brought the whole thing together. I highly recommend booking with them, they are so easy to work with and you can’t beat the extra days you get to set up and clean up.”

“Stepping Stones Garden was the perfect venue for our wedding, and it holds an extra special place in our hearts. My husband’s siblings had all been married there under the previous owners, so it felt like a meaningful continuation of a beautiful family tradition. The updates are thoughtful and well-designed, making the grounds even more breathtaking and the atmosphere even more magical than before. The getting-ready location was gorgeous—spacious, serene, and an ideal setting to relax before the big day. The venue itself was picture-perfect, with so many beautiful spots for photos, and the entire layout was flawless. What really stood out to me was the level of support from the staff. After not hosting weddings for a few years at Stepping Stones since the new owners took over, they were incredibly helpful in coordinating a meeting with our planner to review the layout of the space. They also worked directly with her to help with setup, which meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply enjoy my day. There was a minor mix-up with the table arrangements—the paper I had received didn’t align with the website information—but once we clarified things, everything was sorted out smoothly. “I am a new wedding coordinator in Skagit Valley and I was invited to help coordinate a styled-shoot at A&K Alder Farm and immediately Jessica Benson was highly communicative, collaborative, and delightful to work with. When we got onsite, Jessica and Kate were welcoming and warm as they showed us around all the ceremony sites: The Field, The Orchard, and The Alder Grove. Their property is beautifully maintained and the view is incredible. Aside from the property itself, there are some really unique features that make this venue stand out above the rest: an Airbnb onsite for a romantic wedding night; two campsites with fire pits for an after-ceremony celebration; and a wide open sky for star-gazing after a night filled with laughter and love. I highly recommend any couple check out this venue. It can be dressed up to be really fancy or left to it's natural beauty -- regardless of your style as a couple, this location can fit your needs. As a vendor, it was an absolute delight working with Jessica and Kate (and Anne)! They make you feel like one of the family and I hope to work with them again soon!”

“We had our dream wedding at Briarwood and it was the best decision that we could have made! Jessica was a great communicator and put us at ease as we were a bit nervous planning our wedding. The venue itself is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and has so many areas to play around with. It was difficult to pick only 1 space so we did each part of the wedding in different areas. The large open lawn space was perfect for our ceremony, we had our cocktail hour in the white blossom garden and then our reception in the Wisteria Den. It was all so magical and our guests were so excited about what was coming next. We haven't seen our professional photos yet, but I saw some sneak peeks and the venue is stunning for photos! Our favorite part overall was being able to stay at the cottages from Thursday to Sunday. We were able to load in our decor Thursday which made it so easy and gave us peace of mind that everything was in one location. Waking up on Friday morning and being able to walk around the venue a day before getting married was on of the highlights of the whole weekend. Being able to walk to our cottage at the end of the night after our reception was amazing. We spent the night of our wedding around the fire pit with our closest friends. We had the magical garden wedding of our dreams and I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone if they are looking for an outdoor venue!”
