“I recommend August Hill because for me it was the absolute best and more affordable place to hold your wedding. From the AirbNb that has the space and necessities for the wedding party to get ready, to the Barn Venue that you can decorate to your own personal liking. Lastly they have a outdoor bar, and if you serve alcohol, they provide you with bartenders so you dont have to worry about the guest serving themselves. August Hill is the perfect place if you're looking for a outdoorsy, country feeling wedding. I promise you wont be disappointed as the owners try to accommodate what they can for your special day.”

Magnolia's is nestled in the rolling hills of the historic Hobart Village. There is no beauty quite like Northern Michigan! You will find timeless charm in our 120 year old barn. The barn has a dance floor, rustic bar area and can hold up to 115 guests. Whether it's a wedding, family reunion or open house, we've got you covered. We provide tables and chairs for up to 200 guests along with various decor items such as centerpieces, signage and furniture. If you have more than than 115 guests, a rental tent is recommended. Our goal is to make your day unique, seamless and manicured to your vision. We love working with couples and are open to exploring any ideas you may have!

I had my ceremony, pictures, dinner and reception all on site. There are SO MANY good spots to take pictures, the bar area is ridiculously perfect and charming, and the barn is so rustic and beautiful. I have too many good things to say about my experience. I loved it so much that I can't wait to start planning my vow renewal ceremony so I can do it all over again and without a doubt have it at Magnolia's at Hobart!”
