“Last month I got married at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island, and I had the pleasure of working with Jackie Fanara, an artist from Melissa’s makeup team. She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish- it felt like hanging out with an old friend! She is so incredible at making her clients feel comfortable, listened to, and pampered. “I booked Christen about two years before my wedding. She was so kind and understanding after I had to move my date three times due to the military. On the day of she asked a lot of questions and showed pictures of examples to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted and to make me feel beautiful. My wedding was in the North Carolina mountains where it was 90 degrees and 60% humidity. So, understandably everyone was very sweaty and hot. But throughout the whole day and after standing in the sun for an hour during the ceremony, I was not shiny, oily, or anything.
