I opened my photography studio in 2009. I love working with people and making them happy with my pictures. I capture single special moments and entire stages of people’s lives, photographing all types of portraits – family, new born, maternity, fashion, business head shots, boudoir, engagement sessions, senior pictures and much more. I also shoot different events including, of course, weddings. My first professional photography job was being a second shooter at weddings, so, for me, wedding is the type of photography that I feel I was born to do. I enjoy shooting commercial and fine art photography as well.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college. After college I started a job as a party coordinator. I did this for years. Then, on blind faith started my own journey into the world of photography and wedding planning!

We’re all about weddings steeped with intention - from intentionally choosing a meaningful location to making sure that all of your favorite things that represent who you are as a couple are woven throughout your day. That’s our jam. Nothing gets us more excited than couples choosing a stress free day that includes all the things they love most. Yes, that includes dogs, comfortable shoes, coffee, sledding, boating - you name it.

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

I'm Brittany, I live in Fergus Falls, Minnesota with my handsome bearded man Seth, our teenage daughter Ayva, new baby Otto, and our dueling pets: Murray the Boston Terrier and Amelie the Cutest Cat in the World (yes I'm a cat person and I'm not sorry).

We are an experienced husband and wife photography team based in Minneapolis, MN, who have been photographing weddings since 2000. We are good at what we do, and easy going while we do it. Katrina is the organizer and people person. John is the quiet ninja that will photograph a moment before you even knew he was there. We have photographed hundreds of weddings and have traveled the world to capture some of the most important moments of our clients lives. I'm a photographer based in Moorhead, MN (but available for travel). Photography has been one of my biggest passions since I got my iPod. I love everything about being behind the camera.
